The only thing I've found close is half price books, but that isn't everywhere. Really wish we could have 3 for 2 here too. That'd be really helpful

They need to open a travelling man in Scotland 😭 Edinburgh only has a tiny forbidden planet near a blackwells that only has two shelves of manga in their basement 🙃 I need to scope out Glasgow at some point because for a capital city Edinburgh is not good for manga 😭

First day of this year's sale when I was down in Manchester for the Crom signing on Saturday, they were still working through the sale list so only gaming stuff on the sale table at the time I was there, sure they'll have gotten to comics and manga on the list by now. Hitting Leeds tomorrow, there's some Hachette stuff I've missed recently so hopefully Forbidden Planet can help with those, otherwise checking out sale stock and wanting to grab Emma Viecelli's Breaks, first collection with the new colours is just hitting stores today. Probably check out York late February to see if I can catch any final reductions then. Skye was down at the Manchester store and gave me a heads up that we're looking at the end of March for the next warehouse sale, five week payout that payday so that could get messy.

Actually new colours is a weird description, it's reworked as black and white for the print version rather than the sepia tones that were used for the original online run.

What an exciting haul! I can't wait to shop at a Traveling Man Store on my first trip ro the UK! I will be visiting York (Scarborough) this summer and I will definitely drag my partner to one of these stores *.* I reeeaaally hope there will be a sale happening AND I hope I will understand how it works... ohoh... there are no such sales for books in my country and I only have a vague idea how the 3for2 works? Ill be reading volume 13 of dont toy with me miss nagatoro volumes 3,4 of undead unluck and volume 1 of eden zero . Also ill be starting the demonslayer manga boxset this weekend . And i got volume's 5,6,7,8,9,10 of undead unluck , volume's 2,3,4 of eden zero ordered plus a neko robin stand figure otw .

Light Novel Reader, if its in Light Novel form I get those unless I really like it (Sword Art, My Happy Marriage, Pick up Girl in Dungeon..) I get the Manga.. My Happy Marriage Manga is only on volume one.. its driving me batty. I devoured the light novels my favorite reads of 2022. I can't find anyone on KZbin who reads light novels.. I read manga but I love my light novels I get so much more content out of themmm. I do believe I picked up the light novel for 'I'm the Villainess so I'm Taming the Final Boss" cause you liked the manga and it sounded better then what I thought it would be xD. I do love my light novels... Shield Hero!!! Love! Own all of the main series, don't own the manga as of yet....
