Everyone, including myself, needs to stop being selfish. Its a harsh term in this case but its true. Think about it like this, you are unhappy in a relationship that you are forced to be in. The best thing you can do is to let that person go because why would you want them to stay in a relationship which they aren't truly happy in? I believe it is just a possibility of having someone that both of you can be happy with for the rest of your lives. Each person is an opportunity to be that someone but if it doesn't work, then so be it. Let them find the person they really want to be with and let them have their opportunity to find him or her.
