@miavandermerwe12362 жыл бұрын
@@lindavaleriaparischinchill2279 If you're asking why it's an amazing album, the producing on this album is something you don't get very often, it's something so unique. The lyrics is deep meaningful and true to what Luke was feeling at the time. To be honest it's impossible to describe it to someone so I suggest to just listen to the album in chronological order. Sometimes there are songs that you may want to skip, but just hold on and push through because it gets better and better as you progress and re-listen to some of the songs.

This album is slowly climbing through my Spotify stats to become my most played album ever. I know it's sad, but it's still so chill and comforting and the end is actually really uplifting (Light up a darkness I was never meant to...Climb out of like a bursting sunrise from the deepest sleep...just hits so right) and I still feel all the emotions every single time and it's beautiful!

This is one of those albums many people will probably be grateful for. Like just put it on repeat, lay in bed, Listen to it and think about your life choices type of album. Luke seriously impressed me! Not only vocally and with production but with LYRICS they blew me away at how deep and personal he got.

I found this album during a week in my life where something really awful had happened, and I hadn't really come to terms with it or cried at all. When I was in the nighttrain back home I put on the album and it shuffled to comedown. I heard that first lyric, "it's been a hell of a week," and that's the moment I completely broke down. I don't think any album has ever had this much emotional impact on me and comedown will always be one of my most special songs.

"light up a darkness i was never meant to / climb out of like a bursting sunrise from the deepest sleep / a change of heart and a silver lining down on camellia street" just owns my entire heart idk if anyone’s pointed it out already, but luke has said that camellia street is where his now fiancée sierra used to live when they met :’) which just. a silver lining down on camellia street. im fine this is perfectly fine *sobs*

I literally can't get enough of this album. I can't. It's probably the best album I've ever heard. I'm obsessed. I've listened to it so much that my toddler son wanders around the house singing the chorus of Mum lol. I just love everything about it, especially the songs Slip Away, Mum, Comedown, and Saigon. I need this album like I need air. It helps me feel alive and seen and loved and comforted, and maybe that says something about my mental state but like...Luke, you done good. Caitlyn, first off you are so pretty and just cute and also super relatable so thank you for doing what you do! But also I'm SO GLAD you made the connection between this album and CALM because I feel like if you listen to CALM and WFTTWTAF back to back, they are like part 1 and part 2 of a cohesive story, and you need both but when you listen back to back you get the full picture and it's amazing. Highly would recommend you do that!!! Love you girl, so many hugs! 💜💜💜

This album is perfection and it’s so underrated. I love every single song. Luke’s vocals and the instrumentals and production just create such a beautiful dreamy atmosphere, while the lyricism is meaningful and devastating and relatable. 2:32 "i know it's depressing but i'm still gonna bop because it's SO GOOD" yes. YES!!! starting line is supposed to be a sad song, but it makes me want to scream the lyrics while running, and has a happy rhythm. also gives me the vibe of 'i just got out of a sad moment and now i'm kinda happy/i can feel things other than sadness and i want to enjoy this moment' so for me, it's a bittersweet song. rhythmically, it's happy. lyrically, a little bit sad. i love it. i was going to write a full essay about the album here but i gave up. so, in just a few words: i can't hear the full album because it has really sad stuff that reminds me of sad stuff. however, WFTTWTAF is probably one of my favorites albums of all time. all the songs good. probably, my favorotes songs are Starting Line, Motion, Saigon (!!!), Place in Me, A Beautiful Dream and Comedown (yes the happy, the slightly happy ones and the bittersweet ones). I love this album, lyrically, rhythmically, everything-ly. i still don't know how, but it described so much about what i was feeling, to be able to understand what i was feeling and what i felt before through a collection of songs was a really cool experience. i love this album. it's amazing, awesome, mesmerizing.
