What I've learned from my depression and moods and days where I'd rather not keep living is that... You gotta do something. Try something, anything. Learn something new, write stories or music, learn programming, go out swing-dancing, draw, paint, make music videos for an artist you've always felt close to, learn how to shoot a bow, take a chance, do something that scares you. LIVE. Sometimes there isn't someone who will carry you through and all you can do is pick yourself back up and try something. Your life is yours, and you can make something out of, something of worth, so why sit around feeling sorry for yourself? MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF YOUR LIFE. No one else will do it for you.

I was diagnosed with General Anxiety/Panic disorder over 2 years ago. I'm 31 years old, and I have a very good life. I have a wife and a son who mean the world to me. My first year I struggled with depression as well. That's when I knew what really depression was about, but the scary part as that not so many seem to really understand this matter. Thank you for raising awareness of this horrible decease. I've been improving so much, I have came too far, but there's still ways to go. Thank you! This song reminds me of my partner. He is here for me, despite my C-PTSD, the major depressive disorder, the constant battle of health issues and me trying not to off myself. I'm still here, because he has been here for me. Love you Matthew.
