As always I like the example sentences. But the exceptions and oddities in the language are very important and there a 2 highlighted here where students need to take care. That's great. Shows us where we need to pay special attention. Thanks Miku- san. Please keep up the great work.

@mikurealjapanese5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you for the comment! I understand your request! I can't put both ひらがな and 漢字 because It will be too many letters on the screen but i put all the sentence in the description in かんじ. So you can see what Kanji you should use for every sentence! I hope you understand!

Hey community and Hey Miku I have a question because now I am a bit confused. I feel like the following can use ために grammar: I will go to the supermarket to buy some bread I will go to the airport to pick up my friend My older sister went to Kyoto to take pictures I will go to the park to run Maybe I don’t understand one of the grammars but can someone clear this up for me? Is ために more focus on the action and に行く more focus on the location? Please help lol

Can you do a video about when to use, for example, おねえさん vs. あね? And same with othet family members?
@Cetrus3 жыл бұрын
It's formal version and informal version of the same word. I think It's If you are talking to someone else about their older sister, you will use お姉さん, but if you are talking to someone else about your elder sister you will use あね. In Japanese language they have different language for "in-group" and "out of group". I could be wrong about this particular occasion though :)

Quick question, the sentence "I went to hang out with friends yesterday", you used the verb asobu (遊ぶ). I've only used that verb when saying "playing", so it also works for just going hanging out with friends?

Wait but what about で? Isn’t で the particle used to specify where the action will be taking place? I mean, I’m not saying you’re wrong, nor do I think that you’re wrong because you’re a native Japanese. I’d just like to know why you’re using に and not で.
@カペラマヌエル4 жыл бұрын
The main verb in the sentence is 行く (I'm GOING TO SHIBUYA to hang out with my friends), so に is used to mark where you are going to.
