I’m a new fan to Ger and I am so taken by his talent and dedication to this style of ballads and songs. His voice and musical ability make him stand out in a world of overdubbed overrated performers. I find myself saying "oh this is my favorite" then I click next song and that idea is blown. Flutes usually end a song for me but dang any instrument Ger picks up he makes it work in the song. It's not forced. Not to mention picking excellent duet partners. Great harmonies. Love it. Beautiful.

The fact of the matter is that Ger is probably in a tremendous amount of pain when he thinks about all of the shite music we are subjected to by the controllers. Therefore, he releases this angst by pushing more emotion and passion into his own performances. Pure speculation, of course. Ger and friends are transforming the music scene one song at a time.
