I don't think I will ever catch a Muskie as strange as that one! Felt good to get back out in the MN metro chasing Muskies. I have never seen anything like what this fish did and I don't think I will again!

Incredible eat man! That blind eye is really effecting her aerial awareness! I was just up on leech last week. Video is on my channel, it was tuff for us as well! Only small fish were in weeds. Big fish were still suspended in open water. We boated 4 lost 2. Also production is awesome man!

Feeding burp, lost sight of the lure, figure 8 got her eye back in....fish on a feeding spell, maybe 45 minutes in 2 weeks and you were lucky enough to capture the whole thing kudos!

I’ve seen musky do that before (porpoise at the boat) but I’ve never seen it stick around. Usually they see the boat and bolt.

I had a very similar figure 8 experience with a 47” that was blind on one side as well on LOTW. Also lost one boatside once and plunged my bait back in the water at same time my buddy slammed the net in after her and she ended up in the net with the hook in her mouth 🤷🏻‍♂️. Was a 49”.

Knipex are by far the best, but they are spendy. My back up pair is just a generic bolt cutters and they do the job just fine!

Even before you said it, i knew that fish was blind just by that behavior. If they do that go into an 8 to change circle direction and they will probably get it on the next attempt.
