The reason why they do the coin trolley things is so people actually put them back in the trolley line outside the shop! I had trolleys being slammed on my car before because people are hopeless and don’t want to walk 2 extra minutes! I don’t blame them on that. I come from Italy and that is normality!

Also being from Europe, Aldi is interesting cause the have a lot of products from overseas at a very reasonable price and the wines are pretty good too! Maybe a good motivation if you want to experiment with different food?! 😅 Like certain German biscuits or chocolates sourekraut and so on.. Also cheeses and cured meats sessions usually has more of a “European” selection.. I have found different wurst(type of sausages) that you wouldn’t normally find in Australian supermarkets I have notice that aldi sometimes is not cheaper on certain brands so I guess its worth to check your shopping list and do some price comparison before u head there if you have the time and patience for it! Lol

Just found your channel. If you do return to Aldi, $1 coins also work. 😊 I just keep a gold coin in my bag and car. I don’t pack into bags. I just put everything back in the trolley and head to the long counter in front of the checkouts and transfer to bags. That’s the idea. Admittedly I’ve never had to do it with kids. I find dairy and meat are definitely cheaper. I’m not brand loyal so have no problems that I don’t recognise brands. I’m a big Aldi fan. I do also shop at Woollies, Coles and IGA as well. No kids makes that easier.

Looks very similar to Aldi in the UK! Once you get your head around it, its definitely cheaper, well at least here in the UK it is much cheaper than alternative supermarkets x
