That's not what he said because that's not what scripture says. For it to be completely true you should have finished your proclamation with "unless God permits it" like He did in the lives of Job, Paul, King Saul, and King Ahab. The Word tells us that not only are those devils able to attack us, but sometime God Himself is the one who sends them after us as "thorns in the flesh" to prepare us for new levels as God takes us from faith to faith and from glory to glory.

The making of the beautiful doesn't come from a life of ease and luxury but by frustration, disappointment, betrayal, brokenness, bitterness and a feeling of abandonment.
