Love this song! I was on my youth group's worship team, and we sang this ALOT!! I loved this song then, and I love it now. I just kind of forgot about it, but I listen to it, and the first time I ever had being filled with the Holy Spirit was this song. This is an amazing song! God Bless anyone that listens to it!

That is beautiful...that God is able to draw you through this song. Music does soften our heart and bring us closer to God. But might I suggest that you try not to go the wrong way as best you can. Have you ever read Psalm 2? God says in that Psalm that His wrath can be kindled in a moment. So sin is a very, very serious thing to God. I used to hear so many grace messages and love messages that I somehow thought sin was no big deal, so I went back and forth and back and forth from God to sin. Basically I was committing spiritual adultery on God, and He showed me. One day He told me He was about to give me over to my own desires. That means my chances were about gone. Praise God I got back on a right path and served Him wholeheartedly. Now don't get me wrong, we may mess up at times, but that's a lot different than deliberately sinning and God will label me or anyone as a child of disobedience if we continue going the wrong way. If you read Ephesians, you will see that a child of disobedience is under the wrath of God. Not to mention, when we deliberately sin, we put ourselves back under the law thus making us subject to death. So what I'm saying is, we leave the New Covenant of grace to go back under the law when we sin. Please stay in covenant with God where it's safe, where there's freedom, and where there is strength for everyday. God loves you so much, and it is His heart that you choose Him over sin, but you must choose. You can't have it both ways. I say choose Christ because He's worth the sacrifice and worthy of all of our praise. I know God's hand is touching you right now to help you make the right choice. God bless you!

Great song! I connect with Misty Edward's music, and I love her passion and devotion for Christ. I guess you could say, I love the seed of Christ within her. Thankful you shared this song because my pastor just preached about the race Wednesday. He said the reason we are running the race is to be conformed into His (Christ's) image and likeness (or in other words to be like Christ). He also said that sadly humanity doesn't even know there is a race (hence the end of this song about the earth sleeps and slumbers), but we are not just human anymore, for 1 Peter 1:23-24 says we have been born not of a mortal seed (or a human seed), but we are born of the incorruptible seed of God that liveth and abideth forever. I believe God will be sending His laborers into the harvest to let people know there is a race set before them and ask them to receive Jesus and His love for them so too they can join the race with us saints and the great cloud of witnesses (Hebrews 12:1-4). I pray we all be chosen of God for such an honor as to labor with God and all of heaven in the harvest and draw all humanity toward Christ Jesus. God bless you all! I hope everyone is excited about this race and runs well because God has come to live inside of us and empower and grace us by the Holy Ghost so that we can boldly say, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!!"

IreNivaan if you ask God will reveal Himself to you. My family and I have seen Gods power at work. My stepdad before he was a Christian was fishing and got his boat stuck. It was winter and he didn't want to get in the water so he decided to pray. Before he was done a man pulled up and asked him if he needed any help. He said he lived two hours away and something told him he had to go and help someone. A few weeks ago I was healed from a hump in my spine. Jesus is alive and He wants a personal relationship with you.
