Bring this client back for some top session, holy shit he’s asking all the right questions about the fundamentals I wish every player knew. Not knowing how to effectively clear my camps/not knowing where enemy jungle would be was why I didnt start jungling until I had played the game forever. New players never get a jungle tutorial like this one. Great vid. Keep up.

Respect for this client, he acknowledges where he is at, accepts it, and even though has no intention of climbing, still wants to understand the game more (hence why he got the coaching, else have no idea why he would), doesnt make excuses, just plays and tries to do better, and asks great relevant questions instead of just offering excuses like past clients... Also, to NEACE, respect gained man, this vid possibly the best jg vid I seen, explained so much about patience meters and learning them, rather than in past of just "kite up" etc, coz although that advice isnt bad, it dont explain why as well and what the limit is (also from that knowledge can gain understanding on other places to use technique more effectively, not just on first few clears), and again with invade/counter jungling, you explained this well here, instead of just "go and invade" like you usually done in past with a brief description, this time you spent time on explaining it fully, and yet again with the description of diving, although we had an idea of it, you explained it black and white and in detail in this vid. I understand that in a match you dont have the luxury of explaining it fully due to the game continues on and such a long description could miss out on the actual instances in match after the description, but to see you do this after in a casual practice tool setting to explain exactly whats going on, is refreshing, would like to see more of it on other roles as well.

@@TwinTurboZach I disagree to a point, maybe worded badly above, what I meant was climbing isnt his focus, lower priority, understanding a game is important, once you do then you can know if you are capable of climbing and can shift focus to that if they so desire, or can just focus on what you want in game instead, yet able to perform your role effectively still

My main issue is that I'd like to play ranked more but I end up playing norms with a bunch of friends, but the rank difference is so frustrating because they always lose their lane and we end up not having so much fun(unless I can hard carry with my main champs when I play them which is not so often) so I think the 2nd account thing is for the best.

Or maybe just find a different game to play together. LoL is very co-dependant on everyone's performance, so it naturally makes it difficult for players of different skill levels to play together. Something like "Mario Kart" is free for all so it might be a better fit.

I would suggest that this guy read tooltips more. A lot of his questions are explained in the jungle item tooltip. I’ve noticed quite a few players don’t thoroughly read items/abilities/runes and it leads to a lack of knowledge that hinders their game.
@gmabitx1
@gmabitx1 2 жыл бұрын
You're not looking at it from the perspective of a new player, but even more than that, of a returning player. Sure, a lot of information is there within the game itself, but you also have to look at the number of things that are there. Coupled with the fact that a new player views the game from scratch, whereas a returning player who's coming back to the game after the game has gone through magnitudes of changes EXPECTS for something to work in a certain manner but doesn't realise it's been changed in the background and therefore fails to even identify that there is even a change that he/she should take a look at. Combine everything together, and you're left with a rather overwhelming amount of stuff to keep track of, which like a said above is even more difficult for a returning player to get a grasp of, than a fresh new player.
@DemainaNyx
@DemainaNyx 2 жыл бұрын
While I agree, my one complaint is that the game is very strange. If you look at a champion's abilities in the client, it doesn't even tell you the AP/AD ratio, the range, or the cooldown at each level. If you look at tooltips in game, it will say numbers with the AP/AD symbol beside it. Unless you press Shift, you don't even know what the tooltip is explaining and, even if you do use shift, it gives you some of the information, but not all of it. That makes it very difficult for a new or returning player to get the full story quickly. I normally go to Lol Wiki if I want information about a specific champ rather than the client because it's just easier and it will tell me everything unlike the client/game. I personally am the type of person that wants that information, so I will sit in the practice tool and actually read abilities and try out combos. Most players though aren't like that. I've met so many people who were like, "I don't practice champs in norms, you don't learn anything there, better to just play ranked." True, you don't learn how to play the champion at a Master Tier level vs Silver and Gold players, but you do learn the basics of the champ. That way you don't waste your Senna ult trying to steal Baron when it literally doesn't do damage to minions or monsters, which is something that my teammates will still ask me to do, many YEARS after her release, despite me knowing it doesn't work. A different example is Fizz ult, which has an indicator when it goes from small to medium to large. However, Ashe and Jinx, two ults that change slightly based on distance traveled, just have to guess when their ults will get max value. So while I agree that reading the tooltips would help out a lot, Riot could also just make this easier and actually provide all the information somewhere in the client/game instead of hiding it.
