The point about doing your research one is 100% true. I have ADHD and tried getting into plants a few times over the years, but was never able to keep anything alive because I never thought to research care much beyond what it said on the tag. Now, I've been getting into plants more seriously since July 2021, and I've done so much reading and learned so much about them! The time spent caring for and learning for them has been really therapeutic, too. I will admit I definitely do still have my impulse buys while I'm out - but, I always at least do a quick google of the plant on my phone before I actually buy to make sure I can give it the environment it wants :)

Yes! That’s very interesting about the therapeutic aspect of doing the research! I never thought about that but now that you say it, yes! I agree! ❤️ I’m glad you are enjoying your plants 🌱

What is the plant closest to the camera? I love the variegation!

Hi! It’s either a glacier pothos or a pearls and jade pothos. I’ve been trying to get a positive ID on it for years and I’ve posted it on many plant groups and people are 50/50 on whether it’s a glacier or a p+j. I honestly think there might be two different ones in the same pot because when I bought them they were very small and I put them all in the same pot. I had three plants to begin with. Maybe some were p+j and some were glacier? Either way I love them!

Almost all plants are toxic to cats 😭

Yes unfortunately, but there are ways to display them so your cats can’t get to them.
