Nobody told you about this because we made these discoveries in 2003 kiddo, and those were the best times ever. Not a single kid today will ever know the feeling of playing this back when it first came out. Best times of my life ❤️ EDIT: Wow, 2.8k on a late comment, must of hit home with this one. Nostalgia is such a weird but great feeling. Thanks guys 🙏🏻

As a kid playing this on PS2 I was so captivated by this game. It was so fucking well done from top to bottom. The mission at the end where you rob the bank was so good that I remember making a separate save file at that point just so i could keep replaying it. I went back onto my PS2 recently and replayed that mission for the 1st time in easily 15 years. By todays standards it was honestly nothing crazy at all. I mean the opening mission in GTA5 was 100x better, but the nostalgia was overwhelming. I felt like an 11 year old kid back in 2002 again. I really don't think todays kids will really get to experience nostalgia from games when they are older like we do. Games just dont have that core memory factor in them anymore.

The fact I’m 24 & knew this really makes me feel either old or “like damn man, I really grew on that shit.”

I feel my childhood while watching these. I feel nostalgia is great feeling but also so sad&depression because you cant experience the feelings when playing Gta III & Vice vity after you played only GTA 2. See game freeroam free wold and 3 d allway 😢😢. I think im gonna remember the rest of my life the hype and feeling playing vice city from morning to evening + skipping homework and being tired to school

This game introduced me to 80s music as a kid in the 90s. At the same time living in the 90s, San Andreas felt more at home. I loved these games so much.

I knew. Saved a game with all hundred hidden packages before any missions done. Always a good start when I reboot it once in a couple of years

Wow even downloading the game doesn't give you the experience of playing it on the ps when it first came out back in the day. Best memories these! Flying cars. Super jumps. Crashing into other cars watching them explode float away. Weapon pack cheats. So much man. The missions were crazy the chaos was addictive. I miss it❤ big up old years

I grew up on this game. Was literally 10 years old when it released. Those were good, stress free times. Sigh
