BIG THANKS FOR THE LOVE! I'm sorry to be a party-pooper, but I'm just posting here because I've had quite a few problems with copyright and people using parts of this film... So much work went into this, and it kills me when I see people use my track or footage without asking, telling me or even crediting me. It's a bit upsetting because I'm so proud of this film. The music and narrative: I don't mind you using the audio or the dialogue for dancing, but please ask me, send me the film if you upload it, and credit the original video! I love to see people using this for inspiration, just please tell people where you found it! The footage and visuals: They're strictly not to be used anywhere else - I really want to try and keep them to this film, and this film alone. All you guys watching are amazing - keep dancing ya'll x

Dear Wildblooms, this is such a beautiful film. Thanks for sharing your gifts and talent in such a powerful way. I'm leading a 1-day fundraising masterclass to arts and cultural organizations in five Australian capital cities this month. May I show this film with full credits/attribution? I think it will inspire them to find purpose in their fundraising for the arts - to help more little girls (and boys) fulfill their dreams of becoming dancers, artists, film-makers, musicians....

Thank you so much for this videoo!! 💜💜 I wished I was a dancer, i told myself this back when i was 4 or 5 when i got put into the quior rather than the dance team in school. And though i later grew on to love singing and music, i got into traditional dancing when i was 8 and had anxiety so i couldn't really show much without fearing the people around me would judge. I then fell in love with dance again in a more beautiful way when i was 13 but i wasn't good at it and i felt like i was too old to start again.. Here I am now though 14 turning 15 still practicing and try to improve. I clicked on this video looking for motivation and i found it. Well I don't really know why im writing this but i hope it can serve as reminder to anyone who read this to not give up no matter your age and keep going as a dancer. Thank you for anyone who read all this. Let's all try to keep going.. dancers 💜

I didn’t say anything because I figured it was too late, but it turns out ballet wasn’t just something I could forget. I’ve taken some class and it’s hard. It’s really hard. But I love it so much. Watching the dancers en pointe glide across the stage, it’s magic. There’s nothing like it. I wish I was a dancer.

I can't tell you how profoundly beautiful and inspiring this film is, on so many levels not just as an artist, but simply as a human, and how it captures so much of the human struggle of perfection and then letting go of that need so we can be truly free unto oneself. I showed this film to one of my Physical Theatre class's i teach for middle school and had many of the teachers in tears. Thank you.

Hey, so I usually don't comment on youtube, but I felt like saying this: I used to be a rhythmic gymnast, so believe me I know what it feels like to suck at competitions. I think I could've gotten really good, but I just didn't love it, and it showed. Then I switched to contemporary dancing at age 17 (!) and trying to go pro now. So one of the reasons why I fell in love with dancing instantly is that it's an ART, not a sport. Sure it's important to get strong, flexible, develop a good technique etc etc - to develop a vocabulary, so to say. Ultimately what matters is that you learn to express yourself in the language you are most passionate about. It's all about the passion, which you clearly have and the expression of feelings in your dancing. Only having good technique makes you a good mover, not a dancer. So hold on to that passion. Try to get better, yes, but do so with the thought of becoming the best possible dancer YOU can become and don't compare yourself with others too much. It's shit to feel jealous and it just makes you frustrated. Some of these feelings can surely be productive, but don't let them take over you. Obviously I don't know anything about your life or how your dance community works, but I would consider putting more energy in developing your creative voice - taking part in projects, dance pieces, trying out different dance styles, going to the theater.. than taking part in competitions, because this is what will make you stand out later. And lastly, try to find good teachers and friends who support you You are so young and have so much potential... Never stop dreaming
@ajkodzz50224 жыл бұрын
Man I’m out here living in the projects. A busy mom that can’t afford to put me in dance classes. Friends and relatives that say I can’t get there. Man I have people I’m trash. This shits annoying man. The way people stay wanting to put you down. Crazy.
@leyna-rc5mr3 жыл бұрын
Oh, can kinda relate to that. But I think they are saying that becuz they can't do it. Are they you? Are they living in your mind? Probably not, so they won't know how far you can get. What I am saying is, please don't let them or anything stop you if it comes to your passion. You wouldn't want to regret this opportunity on your death bed, right?

You can still dance on your own, I know it seems hard but it's not. You can watch a lot of ballerinas performances (without point shoes cause they're dangerous for self taught dancers) and just get inspired by them. No matter how much it takes, you can still do it. Put some music on and imagine yourself dancing on a stage, you can still be a dancer no matter what.

I don't have any confidence because people have always degraded me for dancing. 2 years back I was at that point that I was literally going to end my "dancing dream". But I said No, this is not it. Nobody can stop me. Maybe I am not perfect but you know what "Practice makes a man perfect". I practice everyday not to show anyone that I can dance but for me. For me Dance is my God and Dancing is my way of Praying. I will die without dancing. And this video made my heart bleed. I am seriously crying in a very ugly way. Haha I am sorry.
