Aired (October 16, 2021): Hindi biro ang mga sakripisyo ni Teacher Lilia para lang maabot at maturuan nang personal ang mga batang Dumagat. Kailangan niyang umakyat ng bundok at ilang beses na tumawid ng ilog marating lang ang mga bahay ng kanyang mga estudyante at maturuan sila. Humanga sa kuwento ng mga pandemic teacher na tulad ni Teacher Lilia sa dokumentaryong ito ni Kara David.

She's my teacher and Adviser when I was in highschool, kitang kita ko ang determination at malasakit ni Ms. Lilia sa trabaho at mga estudyante niya, lagi akong humihingi ng advise sa mga plano ko not only for the school year but also for my plans in college. She's very kind and knowing some of her background story, I know her hardworks will be feature someday, nagtatanong ako lagi dati how's life on Sta. Inez pero lagi niyang sinasabi na okay lang, simple pero masaya at marangal, dun ko siya hinangaan kasi alam niya kung pano pahalagahan ang mga maliliit na bagay. Teacher yung kuya ko, bago sya na tanggap sa pagiging teacher katakot2 na hirap yung pinagdaanan nya, 1st assignment nya almost halfday sya maglalakad bago makarating sa school. Pero hindi sya nagreklamo kasi naaawa sya don sa mga batang hindi nakakapag aral kung walang Magmamalasakit na guro. Until dumating yung time na nagkasakit sya kaya nilipat sya sa mas medyo malapit na school. Pero 2 to 3hrs pa din yung lalakarin nya para marating yung school. PWD sya hindi sya mkapaglakad ng normal pero ni minsan hindi ko sya narinig na nagreklamo, proud pa sya kasi kahit ganun sya nakakaya nya puntahan yUng mga liblib na school sa kabundukan. Tumagal sya ng ilang taon hanggang sa malipat sya sa mas malapit sa bahay namin.. Ok na sana kaso dahil sa ilang taon nyang pag akyat baba sa bundok ngayon nka 4 legged na tungkod na sya at halos hindi na maihakbang yung mga paa, pero tuloy pa din sa pag tulak na matupad ng mga bata ang kani kanilang mga pangarap. SALUDO AKO SA LAHAT NG GURO!! hiling ko lang sana matumbasan din kahit kaunti ang lahat ng sakripisyo nyo... GOD BLESS...

I am no wiser than any other pero may we realize na kahit wala pang pandemic, ganito na ang sitwasyon at sistema ng edukasyon sa bansa at pinalala pa ng pandemya kaya naman sana kilatisin natin ang mga iboboto nating lider. I'm a tutor and I can really tell the difference sa mga bata na may easy access sa internet/wifi than sa mga wala. Sobrang nakakalungkot lang na 'yung gustong matuto, sila pa yung walang easy access. Yung may easy access naman, sila pa yung tamad at daming reklamo kasi gusto lang nila na maglaro.

I guess mangyayari talaga yung ganyang scenario. Yung mga mahihirap kasi ay nagsstarve sa education kaya they don't take any for granted. I guess you could say they are curious to new things since they have been starved of it. While the people with access, they take it for granted because they know they can access knowledge every time they need it. Ang gusto ko lang iparating is sadyang magkakaroon ng balance dahil ganyan talaga ata magisip ang mga tao. Wala tayong magagawa kasi sadyang ganyan palagi ang magiging scenario.

The camera blurred and turned to the mother staring to her daughter wearing a proud smile. But when you look at her sad eyes, you can tell that she wanted to do more, to provide more to her child, but she felt stuck. A mother's love for her children is really immeasurable.

It's an eye-opener for us students who have access to the things that we need in our online class. It also serves as an inspiration for me to finish my degree so that I can also help other students. What a documentary that will tell you that you must be grateful for the things that you have. Also, if you have the ability to share and help, you should.

Tama si Ms. Kara, walang kwenta ang mamahaling gadgets at teknolohiya, ang mga infrastracture na pinagawa ng DepEd kung walang suporta sa tunay na haligi ng Edukasyon: ang mga guro. Ito ang katotohanan, masyadong nag paka-IN sa uso ang DepEd, nagpaonline class at DepEd TV gayong alam naman natin na mas marami pa rin ang mahihirap sa bansa na hindi kaya umafford nyan. Ang tanging naisip nyo lang gawin ay ang Modular Learning na sa isip naman natin ay alam rin natin di epektibo.
