For anyone who has it and wants a way to break it: start at the finger tips and toes, attempt slow and controlled movements and do not try to force big movements because it won't work. Remain calm and slowly work your way up the arm (get to where you can bend your fingers, start to pivot your wrist back and forth whilst moving your fingers, and then you will eventually be able to pivot your elbow. Same process with your legs; toes to knee) it's crucial that you remain calm and attempt controlled breathing whole doing this. Hopefully this can cut down the length of your paralysis fits.

They're called hypnagogic hallucinations. It's when the brain is dreaming while one is semi-conscious. If the eyes are open, then the dreams become superimposed on the visual field, making them seem real since they're blended in with what one is seeing in their surroundings.

This is really nice to read because I thought I was crazy. When I am super close to falling asleep I think my brain is already dreaming and I’m still sort of awake. The end he is explain astral projection. It's a common thing with people who have sleep paralysis frequently. Your mind gets stuck between the dream world and actual reality. This place is called the astral plane. It's somewhat like a -1 of our own reality that exists within our mind. He most likely was not actually walking in his room with his physical form, but rather his astral form. It can seem almost identical at the moment it happens, but it truth your body is still sleeping in bed while you walk around. Reality itself is a projection of our own mind, hence why we can hallucinate so well. Reality itself is just one giant persistent hallucination that we collectively agree on. What he saw most likely wasn't hieroglyphics, but rather light language. A language our soul remembers, but our mind can not decipher. Regardless, when we see it the soul knows what to do with it. So we project the reality we need in order to "program" ourselves in order to precede through life. This is called destiny. The overwhelming majority of people will never notice that they are manifesting/creating/projecting their own reality in order to be coded by it, which is a form of self evolution that is constantly happening. This isn't because they lack something to notice, but the mind(ego) itself was designed to do everything possible so we remain ignorant to the illusion we live in. If we became too aware that this illusion is on us so we experience reality, then we would become aware that death is an illusion as well. The illusion would no longer serve us so we would "wake up" from this collective dream we are having and return to the "whole" which is Nothingness and the concept of Absolute Infinity.

It took about 10 days to find out why I was waking up feeling like I was getting punched in the head then about 5 more days to get myself to completely stop. I believe it has to do with bieng on a high frequency or energy level. Everything in life operates off of frequencies. In this dream state you may be seeing things just glimpsed through another dimesion/plane briefly as to when you become aware you balance out your levels and stabilize to your normal frequency. Its makes sense TP is a freak of nature when it comes to pain and healing. even though things dont always heal right for him, he always heals fast. Like tony hawk skating weeks after breaking his femur, one of the longest recoveries for a broken bone and most painful. Makes me wonder if the Hawk has these kind of semi conscious states. I have personally been through similar events but with entities that ive come to see called "shadow people" and just orbs that are shadowy and move things in my surroundings.

I have woken a few times either during the night or in the morning and I can see writing all over my walls. The writing is black and scrawled and english but when I try to focus on it to read it it fades and dissapears. It is never there for more than a few seconds and I feel so frustrated that I cant read it! I have also had sleep paralysis a few times as Travis described, where I can hear things going on around me and can feel where I am but I cant move at all. The brain is very freaky.

I saw this not long ago , that's why I'm here I am spooked to my bones because I saw a close friend who died and we hugged in the dream, could it be that he was trying to reach out to me and he is the one transmitting those writings?

I stopped 90 percent of my partying and the 10 percent is only a little weed n beer here n there. And it completely went away hasn't happened in years. Used to scare the shit out of me

I still suffer from night terrors. They didn't start until I was 22. I was in a hotel room in the bed with my girlfriend. I dreamed someone broke into the room and started stabbing her. Then I believed I had woken up but I was still in the night terror. I had the knife in my hand and believed i had stabbed her to death in my sleep. I woke up screaming my head off. It took about 3 hours for my girlfriend to calm me down. Had to lay in the shower for over an hour. I could still smell the blood for minutes after I woke up. Another thing I suffered from was a condition called exploding head syndrome. I know it sounds ridiculous but it's absolutely real. All of a sudden I would get super tired. To the point where if I was standing I would have to lay down immediately or risk hitting my head when I fell. Right before my eyes would close it would sound and feel like a shotgun blast to my head. Thank God I haven't had one of those episodes in years.

I get sleep paralysis.. I wake up completely paralysed.. can't move anything except my eyes.. sometimes you'll see evil shit like demons or old hag looking witches staring at you saying scary shit to you.. it's a full strength fight to wake up out of it.. but knowing TP has something similar makes it a little more bearable..

@@jettyluke5867 I always thought it was something like that as ppl all over the world have the same or see similar shit.. some ppl see aliens.. and while paralysed they get "probed or taken to a different place and operated on" while others just hear scary shit and never see anything.. I'm not sure what it is.. it could be deep psychological shit that's just the brains way of dealing with it.. Either way it's fucking terrifying!

well technically dmt creates sparks of flashes in the brain from just chemicals so it could be sending light without light actually being in the room.

Bro I had this happen too for about a month in 05 but I was able to copy mine on the walls. It was ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Never got it fully translated because the person I brought it to only read certain Egyptians manuscripts and the hieroglyphs I copied most they couldn’t identify because the meaning was to off from the other hieroglyphs basically it was 3 different hieroglyphs combined mixed together so translation was very hard to decipher. But one day I’ll find someone who is qualified to read it I just haven’t thought about it in years until this video... crazy shit man

i don't have night terrors like that, once i'm awake i'm fine after the crying and shaking and sweating stops, i'm usually okay in 15 or 20 minutes but it seriously upsets my wife, like really bad. For days. It happens when i don't ride or surf or ski or something. i noticed it back when i had a knee injury.

lol i remember having sleep paralysis all the time, as far as i could tell it was probably a result of stress and a bad sleep schedule. Idk if anyone else can relate but i could always tell when i was falling into my body falling asleep, my head would start to get fuzzy so i knew it was about to happen so i usually could stop it before i went full statue, i think the best way to get out of it is to fully relax your body as best you can then studdenly move like your arm or leg, always worked for me.

Exactly like me, my head gets fuzzy, and I start to get paralyzed but since I'm aware of it I stop it before hand, sometimes I get a fuzzy head and everything around me goes Silent and it's like everything is pressuring towards me when it's not, then next thing I'm Tryna wiggle my fingers and toes to slowly break free

Night terrors are so weird. Mine are I can tell whats going on and I can move. But I can not wake myself up. I cant control my emotions what so ever or my voice. I scream and im freaking out. My wife usually tries to get me to the shower. Then ill snap out of it. It's really hard to explain, Objects and stuff seem weird or not balanced and everything just feels really uncomfortable like you feel so uneasy but have no idea whats wrong.
