played the game, it was fun, it felt good as well. Where would you recommend someone start with pixel art?

well thank you for checking it out, as for pixel art i'll just say it takes practice and there's no shortcuts, but there are things that will definitely help. learn at least the basics of color theory, use pre-made color palettes if picking colors is difficult for you (lospec.com is what i used for this game) the app you use doesn't really matter, just pick what you're good at, photoshop, aseprite, etc. pixel art is all about trying to make something look good with so many limitations so it can be difficult but definitely not impossible, you can do it even if you're starting out, you'll just get better everytime. even my pixel art was ugly when i started XD

i also wanna make games like that but idk im just kinda "bad at learning" and im not very creative. I do have godot, but i just dont know how to use it... i wish i could as good games as you lol thats so good

It just takes a lot of practice, I've been learning to make games many many years ago, and only properly made and published games this year. It's difficult but you get better every time, go from completing simple projects and try to go higher every time, you'll get better and eventually make good games :)

Nice game! I saw you posted it in the discord server, however it wasnt my type of game so I didnt play it for very long. hope you understand xD i only got maybe 1 critic on the actual game i didnt like and its that the movement is kinda whacky, if you make quick movements it often doesnt count (atleast for me) and then you press the wrong button because the last one didnt register. Nice game otherwise tho!

I understand but the game isn't really like a regular platformer so the controls aren't going to be super responsive but more snappy like a turn based thing but yeah it's fine if its not your kind of game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thanks for checking it out anyway
