Vivid I noticed your play style is very much about constraining other players to the point where they don’t have a lot left to do but die. Ex: Building a platform to the side so they can’t pyramid you. Putting pyramids where they would build stairs so they can’t. It consists of a lot of predicting what your opponent will do.

It saddens me we used to have Friday Fortnite tournaments and now we have whatever the hell this is. 30+ People sitting in boxes in a circle barely big enough to walk around in and people flying around with hamster balls. I thought the planes looked dumb.

friday fortnite where pro players who spend their life playing fortnite go around killing 8 year olds and 10 year olds who can't even play the game and just play to get cool loot, areguing with each other over who gets the legendary scar. Yeah how amazing that tournament was, gtfo. If you can't appreciate what it looks like when good players are trying to win and fight each other then just don't watch it, you can go and watch plenty of people destroying kids in pubs, crack on but stop crying like that was better when the competition was literally 0 and it all just came down to who found the most 10 year olds first.

You didn't watch them to see good players kill noobs you watched the good players competing for kills against other good players. People pushed, picked every fight because the format was made that way. That's the problem with the tournaments, i can't appreciate all of the pros being in one match fighting each other because they aren't FIGHTING each other. It's who can build boxes and rat tunnel the best. When they started giving earnings for placements over kills was when tournaments were ruined. Not to mention the game's connection is too shit right now for most players to be able to play efficiently with so many people in a tiny circle. The game was never made for that in the first place.

I find it far more fun to watch the best players in the world trying to win against each other. 'You didn't watch them to see good players kill noobs you watched the good players competing for kills against other good players' right so essentially a kill count is fun to you, skill does not matter. The reason people pushed and picked every fight is BECAUSE they were playing against kids, try that against another good player and it wont end well. You obviously just can't appreciate the skill gap of the game and you made this obvious by saying 'who can build boxes and rat tunnel the best', what a load of rubbish, i'm sure there are tons of players who can rat tunnel amazingly but guess what they don't win in tournaments because the game requires more than just that to win. Who are you to say the game was never made for that, do you have any proof?? or is that just your opinion. That is what happens in competitive games, the same thing happened in csgo, it evolves over time as people get better at it, saying the game was never made for that is just a straight up lie. Like i said the best thing for you to do would be to go and watch a regular stream where they play solos and then they will push everyone and get lots of kills and you will enjoy that, but better not to watch the competitive side of things because you know it's 'competitive'.

I got it, the time they added the sword ON THE DAY of a tournament. Get fucking real. The game hasn't had a proper skill gap since season 4. I remember when i could push somebody and have them build and shoot back instead of biding time by sitting in a box the moment they take even 20 damage. This game is a nightmare for anybody who isn't a pro right now.
