@@kevind2001 brother, this is not logical. you're talking utter nonsense. saying that you need large player pools to make money in tourneys or poker in general does not make sense. you need to play better than your competition (and the rake) and you'll make money in the long run, that is how games of probabilistic betting work. with smaller fields you'll actually have less variance in your results i.e. the downswings you're talking about will be less severe (so will the upswings).

Gg bro, just wondering if 85 of diamonds on the river likes to continue betting but like a quarter pot if even, so it seems like a bluff. I think he would be more inclined to jam on a small river bet because diamonds missed

Couple reasons I don't like small bet. 1. Important to get all the chips in because big bounty 2. My range has the straights and two pairs and his range is a lot of AK KQ KJ QQ JJ type stuff which would never jam v a small bet. 3. The hands that would likely shove for them like a set or two pair will call a shove anyway. 4. in my experience people don't bluff enough with Ax diamonds, QJ JT type hands IMO to make that enough of a factor.
