I just heard this for the first time and I can't stop playing it. It is one of the purest love songs I've ever heard, sung by a favorite singer of mine. It brings tears and chokes this guy up but I can't get enough of it. When he started singing it was stunning to hear his still robust and expressive voice, and his explanation of what the song means to him is so touching. I read that he met his future wife when he was 12 years old, and his deep sense of loss is revealed in this song. Tom, to me this is your best work! Thank you.
