Amid the ongoing controversy over the alleged assault of AAP MP Swati Maliwal at the Chief Minister’s residence, the former Delhi Commission of Women (DCW) chief clarified that she won’t give up her Rajya Sabha seat now.
In an interview , Maliwal, who alleged that she was attacked and assaulted by Arvind Kejriwal’s close aide Bibhav Kumar at CM’s house, said she would have resigned as a Rajya Sabha MP if the party had cordially asked her.
She added that she would not resign if any power puts pressure on her to do so.
