You don’t have to use the software to remap the buttons on the pdp controller. You hold the mic button down and the paddle and then finally the button you want to map the paddle too. You know you mapped the controller when you see the light blink a few times. You’ll notice a pause for a few seconds so the controller can save the mapping but yea you definitely don’t need the software to map it buttons. It’s mainly for the stick drift stuff and audio controls

Honestly, I feel like the Xbox controller is better BECAUSE of the Batteries. I don't want to pull a cord through my whole room, if I just want to chill on my couch and play some games. Bro i was looking at getting a controller with back buttons and my wife brought me home the PDP with a headset combo from walmart for $30 for the xbox it worked great for about 3 months then the left stick died from having to click it to sprint all the time other than that for xbox it was alright

I have the third controller lol oh don’t recommend it it’s fine but after a while it won’t it will stop connecting like the wire you plug it in and then you plug it into your computer and then it does not work so I would not recommend it
