RE: Time Management - I only played recreationally, and that was something like 25 years ago, so the metagame with the clock seems odd to me. Thinking about it, it makes perfect sense, but it nevertheless feels weird.

I'm a terrible chess player who always found the game super solitary and devoid of emotion because I had no one to play with in person. But seeing Anna being this volcano of enthusiasm and passion is really inspiring to me. And I've even started putting extra effort in my online chess matches, feeling a bit of pride when I win. I'll probably want to learn some theory next. Keep it going Anna, what an excellent tournament!

similar with me also terrible at this game and beating hard opponents like sleeping magnus from time to time is almost the best I can achieve at the moment as I am far to slow thinking with this time pressure versus human players But I for sure would never even have tried to play this game without this inspiring young ladies channel here

I’m not a player at all, chess is difficult and I rarely win, so I haven’t played in many years. But watching you play and listening to your explanations of the games was compelling. It’s your excitement and love of the game that moved me. It doesn’t hurt that your chess pedigree is impressive with mom and pop being grandmasters. To make this short, I’m inspired to start playing again at age 64. Wish me luck! 🍀

What a fantastic video, from beginning to end, it kept me intrigued and excited. Then you had your mother watching and following your game, then the blunder with the pawn, which actually caused your opponent to blunder. Finally, making all of the necessary moves to threaten a checkmate. Excellent work all around, and congratulations on nearly finishing first in the Rilton Elo.🤑🥰

Watching Anna and Pia is so fun! It was disappointing seeing Anna choke the draw in the previous game, which cost her a tie for the tournament win. But her enthusiasm is so infectious, and Pia is so wonderful to watch in her commentary. Making chess exciting is an almost impossible task, yet somehow Pia does it!
