I Wonder As I Wander - 5 Christmas pieces for guitar - Simon James

Here’s my usual offering for Christmas - five of my favourite pieces on guitar. I’ve called it I Wander As I Wander, which is the title track, but this year rather than doing a playlist I’ve done one long video, about 15 minutes, so you can put it on, leave it and open a bottle of wine while it plays in the background. The images are all digital (Ai) or enhanced digitally and have a clear association with the piece except the title track, I Wander As I Wander which was collected, in part, by John Jacob Niles from a young girl in the Appalachian mountains of America, hence the images. The final piece, La Minyona De Catalunya, has as its backdrop the castle of Cardona whose centrepiece is La Torre De La Minyona. Minyona means maiden in Catalan.
