I love Chloe, and I love her everyday style, but I didn't like the way the stylist made her look. I think the stylist didn't take Chloe's personal preferences into account and she made her look older and dated. Chloe is gorgeous and she can dress however she wants, so I would've liked to see the expensive version of her style rather than just make her wear those designer pieces.

@@jozefbatko8936 Not true. Even if they went with a lower price range of 400-700 USD from Vince or Rag & Bone, it will still far surpass the 30-70 USD she seems to typically spend on a hoodie. But if they wanted to go luxury, you can easily find cashmere hoodies in the range of 2000-3000 USD from Agnona or The Row.

I think she is really beautiful, but she's rather young and the clothes were a bit too mature for her age, i don't know i think the stylist could have find her more "young looks" better for her age, or maybe I just think these ones are too formal, but Chloe is pretty tho

@@Kittykatt96 I could be wrong, but from my understanding, it seems like it was the stylist at the beginning of this video who put together all of these outfits. Really not much input from Chloe. A couple things I wish they mentioned in the video: - Designer clothing is, for the most part, made with much higher quality than "budget" clothing. These clothes are made with the intention of being legacy pieces that you keep in your family for generations. (Not the hype beast brands lol, but the true luxury fashion houses). - A pricey item that you wear for years ends up costing you far less than a cheap, trendy piece that falls apart or becomes dated within a season. - Manufacturing new clothing (especially fast fashion) has enormously detrimental environmental and human labor repercussions. Thrifting and consignment help lessen that impact.
@Kuralai955 жыл бұрын
True! My clothes from childhood/teen years are still being worn by my cousins. Like I would wear certain coats, jeans, boots for few years until I grew out of them, then my sister wore them and after her there is two more cousins who “inherited” them. They aren’t luxury items by any means! Just smart shopping for clothes made nicely from good quality materials.
@akvnflz5 жыл бұрын
Finn yes! It’s better to put a large dent in your wallet immediately rather than slowly build up an even larger dent every year. I don’t have the job to be able to afford a shopping spree on Rodeo Dr, but I do tend to buy at least one item if I need it from a designer brand, because it’s better quality. I have an original Burberry scarf from the 60’s that’s been passed down and stuff and still looks very similar, if not exactly the same from pictures and stuff I’ve seen. Notice that that scarf has been through A LOT of blizzards, snow, and rain. But yeah, I say designer fashion is great, it lasts longer, ends up being cheaper than fast fashion, and just looks good.

I think that if you are planning on putting some more money into clothing, it is best to get something made out of nice materials and to your measurements or get it altered to really fit. Because having things just 100% fit you in all ways, feel comfortable, and be functional for what you need it to do, feels amazing. Pay for the materials and craftsmanship. You can get some really really nice things for expensive but not crazy expensive. We are often paying a really high mark up for basically bragging rights of certain brands.

Quality wise, clothing IS better quality only with certain brands (I've seen many high end brands using polyester in everything) and only up to around 100/300 $. Any higher than that you're only paying for the brand; if you really love it and can afford it go for it, but it's not gonna be any better than less expensive option.
@akvnflz5 жыл бұрын
meggyspencer I think that even though brands use cheaper materials like synthetic fibers, it doesn’t make it lower quality. Each piece is handmade by professionals. With that being said, brands like Moschino have lots of overpriced trash, but other brands don’t. I personally like it when I find winter coats or whatever by luxury brands that use faux leather because, well, it works better in my environment. I get really harsh winters and real leather does not hold up at all. However, faux leather is great. It all depends on who is making the item, not what the item is made of.
