Today I'm giving a 1 week reviewing YEEZY's latest shoe the Adidas YEEZY Foam RNNR Ararat! The YZY Foam Runner Ararat had a surprise release date of June 26th 2020 and a retail price of $75, however the Yeezy Foam Runner now resells on StockX and Goat for between $250 and $300. The Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner is made of a mix of algae harvested from the USA and EVA foam. The YZY Foam RNNR shares many similarities to Crocs however with a bit more clout. I unironically like this shoe. It looks very comfortable during the summer. It’s not loose like Crocs. It feels like an everyday causal shoe of the future. It’s by no means perfect, but I prefer experimental designs rather than basic standard industry practice.

I work at a hospital and I’ve been wearing this shoe everyday to work for the past week as well! Seth is right, sneaker-head or not, *EVERYONE you pass is going to say something about them and usually starts with, “What are those? Are those Crocs?” (And if you’re close with the person) “THE F**K are those!?” After that, luckily for me, you’re showered with compliments! The only awkward thing is explaining to the older folk that these are called Adidas Foam Runners or “Crocs but cooler,” and you’ll lose them from there. But other than that, I enjoy them and still are comfy from the day you have them.

Totally here for it. I love these. From a design standpoint, can’t remember the last time a shoe design challenged anything, at least on this level. To the ones who call this ugly, well, crocs are ugly in a similar way, and I still own 2 pairs. The foam shoe in general is such a niche in the shoe/sneaker world that there’s still room for crazier designs like this. Idk, still just my opinion. I’m an architecture student n I gotta agree w giving props to the CAD designer(s) on this one 🔥

Seth here’s some knowledge on the fit of the shoe. It’s not actually the material contracting in hot or cold weather but actually your feet contracting dependent on your health, diet, and activity. If you sit for a long time like on an airplane without much movement your feet will swell up. So that is why some days it feels tighter and some days it feels loose.

yes EVA foam can soften and expand in warm temps and shrink and harden in cold temps... that's the downside of the shoes unfortunately, but they are durable which is why they also use them for outsoles of sneakers.

I’m sure if you are able to cop the right size, they would be super comfortable. I used to hate on Crocs until I actually got a lined pair. They are so incredibly useful. I can see these being for similar occasions, like going to the gym (if you’re doing that), grocery store, walking dog, etc, etc, etc. Wouldn’t pay more than retail for them though.

About the size changing. I've noticed my feet swell slightly depending on the day and if i drank before. Totally normal. You're not crazy.

Yeah, I find that often as well. Especially, if you a Triple-E width instead of the more generic standard widths like B and C. Can’t do them.
