Actually DVDs were in use by the gov in the 80's. They released laser discs in 78' I do believe, but that was ONLY after they had replaced them with DVDs in the gov. They never release new tech till they have the next best thing to replace it with. And DVD was the replacement for laser discs. How many people here know what those are or have used them before???

This was really good 😊❤ The lazer disc was a nice touch. My brother had 1 in the 80s. Big ass disc the size of an LP/ vinyl record with a massive player bigger than a ps5.

Actually the ones the military had in the 80's was the same size as they are now. They used them for all sorts of filming but mostly in the fighters for mission footage of the pilots actions.

It was called an opti drive back then. They had 2 sizes. The one we have as cd's today & a smaller one that was about 1/2 the size in diameter. They were used in ever combat equipment to have the battles to look back on from every angle. Learn from mistakes

It was dark somnium who did the first part and the deep dark dread feeling you get from the music that plays is absolutely haunting... It's hard to listen without it honestly but somnium only did the first part and I need to hear the rest so I cant wait and I listened here.

Love the stories, but the sound balancing between the normal speaking and "audio" clips could really be balanced better. In most of the stories I have to keep adjusting the volume every time you use an effect because it goes so much quieter.
