When you sign up for Survivor, you are TOLD exactly what you’re expected to do to win. This is not remotely the same thing. He wasn’t told, nor should he expect, to experience psychological torture. There are definitely instances of unwarranted cancel culture and people jump on without knowing any details. However this instance does seem to be terrible with the more details we get. But we don't have the full story with all the proof yet. I believe what Jake is saying but it's still mostly just hearsay. I'm sure more evidence to come but we need to wait until we see it to make judgements, that's the real issue is people making judgements with little information. People on the internet love to do that.

Exploitation. Yes, he *could have* left. He was allowed to leave. He agreed to do something that would, in almost any instance, result in psycological damage. But the question you have to ask is... _Why does Mr.beast think its okay to subject someone to something that is known to cause psychic damage_ ? Being okay with locking someone in a room for, what was originally supposed to be _100 days_ , when everyone knows that isolation is torture. Literal torture. The idea that locking someone in a box with barely/no mental stimulation for 3 months is normal... is logical... is _humane_ . Thats psychotic. And then, when choosing to subject someone to a harmful practice, you don't feel the need to do something as simple as turn off the lights.... He said multiple times, that he could not sleep. For 10 to 11 days, they kept the lights on despite knowing he couldnt sleep. Why would you do that? Why would _anyone_ do that? For content? You would reject a simple ask of turning off lights so he could sleep, for an internet video. That requires a huge lack of humanity, in my eyes. But about the exploitation, I don't... I really don't get what you didn’t... get? If someone is about to die from hunger... but you offer them a job that pays 5 dollars an hour. They will take that job. Out of necessity. That is _exploitation_ . When you subject someone to less-than-liveable conditions because they have nowhere else to go... that is exploitation. When someone offers to pay for, often, debilitating debt, debt that keeps you in a hole for years of your life, in exchange for subjecting you to a harmful environment that declines your mental state and damages your psyche, for content that will inevitably earn more for that person than for you -- the one that's providing the entertainment and subjecting yourself to that situation for the video -- that is exploitation. Full stop.

You should go back and watch the first video, it adds more context. But if you're comparing Mr Beast to a gameshow, then you also have to expect that the Beast Productions operate under the same standards, regulations and conditions as a TV gameshow. Do they? Not in the slightest! Dawson (aka Dogpack404) actually mentions this in the first part of his video, as to how much of a sh*tshow the behind the scenes productions on these videos are. None of them have safety regulations, and almost ALL OF THEM violate standard TV gameshow guidelines in every single way. They're legal only because it's a KZbin video, and it's considered to be a indie small scale production, even though it's getting more traction than a national TV programme, and has a lot more budget into it.

The good deed part goes both ways yes he is still giving but the definition of a good deed is “an act someone performs out if the kindness of their heart, without expecting anything in return” Mr.beast expects to be making income by recording a video in doing what he calls a good deed when in reality he didn’t do it out of the kindness of his heart he just wanted to exploit what he calls a good deed and make money to continue the cycle for more revenue. I was always told growing up that if you want to do a good deed don’t tell anyone else you did it because it ruins of the point of it. Now yes he still donates to charity and stuff if it’s not fake but the whole “good deed” has completely gone meaningless for him

While I don't agree with all your takes, I really appreciate your dedication to due process and proof. People LOVE to cast judgement on people they don't even know just to join in on the discussion. My main disagreement is your argument that he "signed up" for it. In game shows, the offer to sign up are public, and then they carefully select for people who can actually withstand the challenges. In this case, a comedian who just happened to work at Mr. Beast was propositioned directly to do the video idea. Being propositioned directly is the opposite of signing up for an offer. So unlike a game show, he had a social pressure to sign up. And based on his other claims of Mr.Beast only giving raises to yes men and how they treated him when he asked for a raise, saying no could hurt his career so there is a power dynamic at play. It's sorta like if a boss asks a lady employee to "do it" with them, even if the boss doesn't intend to coerce the person, it can easily manifest as coercion from the other perspective. Furthermore, it's obvious that the challenge isn't what he thought he was doing, he obviously didn't expect crazy physical challenges like a marathon. So even if he was an eager volunteer, he wasn't really given what he signed up for.

I mean sure Jimmy helps a lot of people in his Philanthropy channel, but like he said, in the long run he’s thinking about how it benefits HIM from it, which is not too great. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t want or like to help people, it just means that it may be somewhat of a narcissistic behaviour. That said, with the amount of people that work for Jimmy or has been in one of his videos, what happens in the dark will come to light man. If all these little flaws from Jimmy and his production team that he talked about like for example not cleaning up the lake after a video when he said he would, or asking people to pretend to be sad during a scene or whatever, if that’s all true, and Jimmy doesn’t do anything to improve that in the future, eventually it just accumulates and the FULL truth will come out. As one of the most popular public figures in the world right now, Jimmy can’t hide his real identity forever. And even if he DOESN’T fake any videos, he could still be all about the money and fame, which would be sad to think about while watching his videos even if they are legit. It’s hard to be rich and famous and not let it take over you with a whole world of business agendas, instead of just doing what you truly love, even if it makes you a little less rich and famous. A good example of that is Elvis Presley, although he was being manipulated but you can see what i mean. Maybe it started gradually with Jimmy, maybe it was all about the fun and entertainment when he started making epic videos. Either way, i really hope Jimmy hasn’t ended up like that, cause i like him. He’s so young and still has so much potential💙

I think your argument of “He signed up for it” is valid sometimes, but not all times. For example, yes he signed up for the solitary confinement, but Weddle said that in the explanation of his solitary confinement, he was told he would have sunlight hours and no sunlight hours or something along those lines. However, he had 24 hour sunlight hours. He didn’t sign up for that. If it was to be a legal and morally right video, they would have to write a contract or waiver stating the parameters and ABIDING by them. Just an opinion. I think Weddle had some valid arguments that expose some real bad problems in MrBeast, but I also think in some of his anecdotes, he may have had some hard bias and skewed the story a bit, but no disrespect to Weddle at all, I love him and he was one of my favorite members along with Jake the Viking and Chandler. ❤

I definitely understand your point. I also would love some undeniable proof, but some of that already do exist. Like the many livestreams he does that undeniably done illegal lottery multiple times. Or even Jake's statement here. Which is pretty credible as per his background with MrBeast, and if done in a court format, with vows, and on the record, will probably works. Not to mention many anonymous people who claim the same thing. I agree with Jake sentiment that Jimmy most likely (and i hope) isn't mostly in on this, or even doesn't know that he is conducting illegal lottery back then, but even if that's the case, it still show negligence on Jimmy's part and what is his brand, and should show accountability and address this instead of hiding, deleting old streams, and running away. At best I do really hope that all these stuff (illegal lottery, Inhumane treatment, etc.) is just negligence on Jimmy's and his company part, and not that he actually want to do it. Though even if that's the case, he will need to show some accountability for it as well, not sweeping it under the rug, at least he needs to address it. Running away and not addressing definitely make him and his company look worse in publics eyes.

I understand your take when it comes to the charity the problem is and this is specifically tied to the crying thing. When you're donating or engaging in some sort of performative act for charity, the performing aspect becomes the most important aspect as opposed to the altruism. If the people you're choosing to help are being chosen not by who's in the most need but by rather who was going to give you the most bombastic response and illicit the biggest heartstring pull upon the viewers that's when it becomes a problem. Because while you could argue that that big heart string puller with such an intense visceral response, is going to get more eyes, which means more views, which means more money, which means larger giveaways... Soon eat your charitable action you engage in is going to have to beat out the one before it. Initially you started out with people wanting to watch to see altruism, put fairly soon what people are turning into sea is how are you going to talk your previous stunt, it's no longer about helping other people it's about how big and flashy it can get. And in order to keep up that pace that difference in people receiving the philanthropy as being the ones that are going to get the biggest audience response as opposed to those most in need.... The golf is going to keep growing wider and wider. And very quickly you can end up in a situation where now you're faking videos within the sentiment of oh well we can't reasonably do anything bigger than we already did without faking it because at least too much to chance and if it doesn't work out the way we need it to we could lose a ridiculous amount of money and then we couldn't help anybody! So what you really done is created a cycle where initially he was just doing somewhat staged charitable acts that were still fully charity to now you're staging everything to get that much bigger of an audience to get more money which yes you are still donating but the primary drive isn't to help others anymore the primary drive is to constantly out do whatever the last stunt was and get an even bigger response from an even bigger crowd. And unfortunately within the mechanisms of the local community and many even working for in this case mrbeast you have regular people that are still working to make sure that charities are still receiving donations from all of this but the majority of what you're doing is no longer non-profit it's just entertainment that happens to Garner itself an audience by marketing itself is doing it for charity over the benefit of others. People are far more likely to tune in and watch whatever's happening or pay money for a chance to participate in something but the helping part is an afterthought the primary focus is on whatever ridiculous activity is about to happen. a somewhat valid comparison would be if you were to look at bethel Church in Los Angeles which is a massive mega church that has been well known for having a list of celebrities and musicians attend there. Kanye West, Justin bieber, several Kardashians, and Chris Pratt etc, the musical artist who have attended have even performed during the service. Usually they would perform Christian or church music, play better believe they also usually manage to perform something from their own catalog that could be interpreted as Christian music more often than not usually holiday music because they're going to have a bigger crowd there during the holiday season regardless. But because of the celebrities being there they were having more and more people attend services donate pay tithes which ultimately did benefit those at the church was helping, but the initial purpose of the church itself to have more than one gather in the name of God in fellowship that wasn't really was happening. What was happening with that people were going to have a chance at seeing an impromptu concert or a celebrity. Jesus was an afterthought seeing Justin and Hailey Bieber for 10 not to hate each other in the front Pew was the actual attraction, and when you compare the cost of an actual concert ticket versus the fairly small amount of money you had to pay to get into the church and buy a t-shirt it's a no-brainer... Finally both with bethel and with Mr beast when you get to be that size and the focus stops being on the charitable aspect that means it's a lot easier to hide where that money is going... A whole lot of confusion nonsense and distraction while doing sleight of hand, and the shirts part of the reason they were able to get rid of doing that is because the entire thing was done in such a distracting and disorganized manner it would be impossible to hold anyone accountable both live or you can watch him later on would be an incredibly boring and tedious task to try and figure out if they actually do what they said they were going to do... So having the attachment to mrbeast philanthropy means he has a constant way of saying no I am a good person and I am a good moral outstanding character while at the same time all of his antics mean very few people are actually going to take the time to really investigate what charities are giving money to and while I'm sure they are going to actual charities it's also skipping over you very important you actually make sure the charity that you're choosing to work with isnt being sus. The bigger the throne, the easier it is to hide all the little nasties going on behind the scene

However, MrBeast has been hiding and deleting comments on his videos as much as possible, and his employees were unable to debunk anything but instead sent a cease and desist without any evidence.
