@rickythomas3479

Yes this is not explained correctly. It is taken out of context. First let me list each out and I have a version of the Quran that has been verified through the Islamic Research Academy. Al-Anfal 8:39 (the spoils of war) "And keep on fighting them till there is no more unrest or injustice, and there exist justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere;But if they stop, surely, Allah sees all that they do." So this is a verse within a chapter that is about war during this time when pagans where attacking muslims and trying to kill Muhammad(pbuh). During this time Allah was explaining the fairness of settling differences between people. There are many verses in the same chapter explaining that if the enemy gives up, you give up. If the enemy needs safety, give them safety. If they want peace, then give them peace. This is in no way telling Muslims to kill anyone for fun or loyalty. At-Tauba 9:05 (Repentance) "But when the forbidden four months are over then fight and kill the distrusted pagans where you find them, and catch them, attack them, and stay waiting for them in every stage of war. But if they repent and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then make it easy for them." So once again we are talking about a war that was occurring during this time where pagans where trying to destroy Muslims that did not have any way to defend themselves, let alone a small force to help defend them and their families. They have every right to do what they can to protect themselves but only if they are legitimately in harm. Otherwise Muslims are to turn the other way and if the pagans adhere to practicing Islam then they are welcome and made easy to do so. And if not then the Muslims during this time ensured their safety if they needed it 9:11 "They are brothers in faith." Treaties where made during this time to help avoid bloodshed even implanting a tax for other religions to be practiced in Makkah and ensuring peace at all times. Even thought many times those that where given good treatment and trust would backfire against Muslims and fighting would occur. Al-Mujadila 58:22 (the woman who cries for justice) "You will not find any people who believe in Allah on the Last Day, loving those who oppose Allah and His messenger, even though they were their fathers, their sons, brothers and kindred (by blood relations) For such people who believe, He Allah has written Faith in their hearts and he has strengthened them with a spirit from himself. And he will admit them to the Gardens beneath which river flows to live there forever. Allah will be well pleased with them and they will be pleased with Him. They are the party of Allah who will be successful and have ultimate happiness." So you see there will be a day when all who are faithful will turn and see that their own family members did not believe in Allah (God) and will face punishment during that time and possibly hell. This goes for all religions who believe in Heaven and hell. This in no way means Muslims will kill others on the Last Day or that Allah is going to do that. Bible scriptures even speak of the Last Day of being a shock to many people after judgment has been exposed and punishment fulfilled to those that do not believe or repent their sins. Al-baqara 9:23 (the cow) "War for just reasons is prescribed for you, even though you dislike war. But you may dislike a thing that is good for you and that you may love a thing that is bad for you. But Allah knows and you know not." So this basically was talking about how people like things that are bad for them and yet at the same time dislike things good for them. That is something that everyone encounters all throughout life. Trying to do good can sometimes be a hard thing to do for many people. But doing what is right and good for Allah is what is most important. So we know that Allah wants peace and happiness and truthfulness. You have to live an obedient life or you can be very sinful and will have many bad deeds by the time your life ends. You want to appear to Allah (God) pure and clean. And sometimes war is justified to protect you and your family and the religion that is the final revelation given from Allah.But what is really interesting is that when war does happen it can be just was hard to do it the right way then do it all. There are so many things that have to be looked at and observed to even make sure the fighting is justified and done right in Allah's eyes. Because there was so much distortion in history with Torah and the Gospel, Allah wants the Quran to be the final revelation to all mankind and do whatever you can to preserve that. Now I can tell you during this day and age, the Quran is never going to be destroyed and many Muslims recite the Quran orally front to back. So there is no need for wars or anything that would be trying to defeat Islam in its entirety. At-tawbah 9:123 (repentance) But if they break their sword after their promise, and make fun of you for your Faith- Then you fight the leaders of disbelief: Their words of promise are nothing to them: Like this they may be restrained" So once again this is about a war that was occurring in Medinah and many of those believers were becoming nonbelievers and Allah wants to ensure them that any fear they have in life should be fear in Him. This is even the same in the Bible where those who believe fear something it should most certainly be fear In God. It is he alone that will seek judgement on all mankind. So do not be fearful of this world and as long as you are doing right in your life and living peaceful and repent your sins and remain true to Faith, then you have little to fear. And Allah wanted to ensure that people put their Faith in him during that time of fighting and survival. In our day in life their will always be some small fear to Allah as we always have to double check ourselves and ensure we have not sinned in any way throughout our daily lives.

+sorpotal I will explain to you the first verse 39:38 from the Quran, ok, you are using the question out of context, Allah asks who is the creator of the heavens and the Earth, they say it is indeed Allah. But they worship other things or in jews and christians case Jesus, and Ezra, this also refer to polytheistic religions, not just christianity or judaisim. (39:38) If you ask them: “Who created the heavens and the earth?” they will surely answer: “Allah.” Tell them: “What do you think, then, of the deities whom you call upon instead of Allah? If Allah should will that an affliction befall me, will those deities remove the harm inflicted by Him? Or if Allah should will that I receive (His) Mercy, will they be able to withhold His Mercy from me?” Say: “Allah is sufficient for me; those who have to put their trust, let them put their trust in Him.57

+sana k. I don't know a lot about Ezra or judaisim, but i do know about christianity and Jesus (as). So usually when christians go to church they ask forgiveness from the preists, or tells the preist to ask forgiveness for them, and the repent to the priests instead of Allah, most common in catholic churches, also or they stand in front of the statue of Jesus (as) and ask for forgiveness, which is a sin in Islam, they also call Jesus, as the son of god, which we believe he isn't, because Allah has no need of a son, since Allah will live forever, and also an opposite of his of his creation, i.e humans.

Im new to Islam and have had this same problem however no one Muslim can deter me away from the religion. Im Muslim because of the what AllahSWT says in Quran, I'm Muslim because of what Prophet SAW said in Hadith. I'm Muslim because Islam is logical and makes sense, I'm Muslims because this is the truth. So no Muslim will be able to push me out of the religion. However for the non Muslims who are considering Islam.. Don't look at the Muslims too much, look at the ProphetSAW, look at the tradition of Islam, The scholars. Your Islam is not predicated on what an ignorant person says whether they are Muslim or not. Your Islam is about your salvation, its about YOU and YOUR relationship with your maker, your creator. Keep your minds searching for the truth and don't allow some Muslims who's hearts are calcified to steer you away from the beautiful religion because for everyone 1 dark hearted Muslim there are 10 soft, beautiful, tranquil Muslims right next to him. Don't make someone else Islam your Islam.

Wow so true ... When I say I reverted in 2015, you wouldn't believe how much haraam police jump on my case although I tell them, I fast, I pray,, I'm good with people..but yet they judge as I dont wear hijab yet, but Allah judges your heart above appearance. What I do know is, regardless if you pray, if you are arrogant or back bite ...your prayers won't save you, I read a hadith on that when a man prayed his 5 a day on time always, but always was back biting and always arrogant and it was his ticket to jahannam, I reverted in 2015 im new to islam but what I do know is, if the Ummah put appearance 2nd, stop telling people to.grow a beard and wear hijab, both these things are personal and between that person and Allah s.w.t, needs to come from the heart no body can tell you when is a good time for that, but praying, fastingand zakaat is different, the Ummah need to look at the priorities, No body asked me, do you pray? Just tellme wear hijab, the answer to that is ..I will never because someone told me when I'm ready. Muslims ...seriously need to stop judging, Allah is there to judge only not people, if people just mind their own business unless you are giving nice advice ofcourse 🙏🏽🙌🏽

Sis..ignore the fools. There will always be idiots like them in islam. Guess what i have come across more non hijabi females who are so pious its unbelieveable. Infact not long ago i met a female at an islamic marriage event (sorry i was only a chaperone and wasnt there for myself..although she asked me if i was avaliable as she was looking for someone like me 😂..i declined..but thats another story). Anyways in this event i sat nxt to her mother all thorough the event so got to know her thorough her mum. And i told her mum that no chance she will find anyone here for what she was looking for. Now she doesnt observe her 5 prayers but golly i have never met a female who cries and gets so emotional when our beloved prophets name was mentioned. She told me how she slept readind duroods until she fell asleep. She has seen so many dreams subhanallah of the kaaba. People of noor in front of the kaaba reading zikr and durrood. Her face was very bright too. But i guess she would be judged on her hijab by idiots out there. Anyways she knew secrets of the unseen though not a lot. I told her to start doing her namaz (prayers). I told her even as it stands anyything you would ask of allah az wa jal..He will surley grant her it. I will certainly say, her chracteristics are on the better path and actually following the footsteps of our beloved Prophet. Alhamdulilla. In the meantime. You keep doing what you are doing. We are all imperfect and need to work on our own steps and idiots should bot dictate. 👍

@@JennaMichellek problem we have in huge abundance is hypocricacy in our beautiful religion. I wont mention anynames but there are plenty of individuals who do dawaah on youtube on others are notorious for this. Talk about haram. Well one of these individuals at one point for some reason or other said "did you know that movies were harram" to his subjects at a beautiful retreat and this was on camera too..yep you guessed it being filmed, recorded then put on youtube. Oi hold on..wouldnt you call that in better sense of a word "on film" or perhaps a...movie ?😂 I also have huge issues with the hyde speakers corner in london. But like you said Allah az wa jal is the ONLY judge and He alone is the one who decides what our fate is. So it comes to again what you said that your heart will decide for you..or your qalb as we say. Im going to add something more fundemental and important to our lives and that is ones INTENTION (niyaat) and how we act upon it. Meaning if your sole purpose is to please Allah then regardless of how pear shaped it goes for you 😂, and well what bad things come out of peoples mouth too because of it. You are still in the very very good books of Allah az wa jaal. 😊 Islam is so Simple yet Deep. Was spread throughout the world in culture, art, architecture along with science and technologies and other subjects however. It only truly spread thorough great characters of islam when they imigrated. Your doing well my sister in islam Jenna. If ones heart hasnt been softened by islam then those individuals will never know what true islam is..and yes hijab in your case and well beard on others. Both can be proven to be a double edged sword. 😉

I completely agree with you brother. I'm a Muslim myself and I remember there was a day recently when I was heartbroken after I read the poisoned comments below a beautiful KZbin video about Islam. Either it is someone ignorant or someone doing that on purpose to push people away. The best way to share knowledge without such poisoned views is to turn off the comment tab and not allow people to comment on the videos but to email the comments to you instead. This might be a good solution to such misuse of technology.

right sometime our own brothers and sisters makes those negative comments, making the truths invisible from the newer Muslims and from the unbelievers. Like the PROPHET MUHAMMAD SALAHOU ALEYHIM WASALAM said in SAHIH BUKHARI: Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Facilitate things to people (concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam).

Just give 'em the good news and don't tell them the true nature, less you scare them off. Book 3 hadith 10: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to take care of us in preaching by selecting a suitable time, so that we might not get bored. (He abstained from pestering us with sermons and knowledge all the time).

Its puzzling when Islam teaches so much love and peace yet some muslims do the exact opposite, but the more I watch these videos it's very clear to understand. People make choices, they have freewill and even if they are muslim there can always be those who don't do the shalat, respect their parents or even stay away from haram relationships. Thee good thing about it is that if you look hard enough there are good even great muslims like our brother Muslim Belal...may Allah guide us all

We all should strive to show the best of character. That being said, one should not base his acceptance of the truth upon random people in comment sections. The truth is the truth. We should never accept a religion based upon the actions and speech of other humans. We should only accept religion completely, by way of accepting the truth it holds. Whether some Muslims have bad character or not, the Quran is still the truth. We don’t base truth by the actions of men. If one has bad character, he has not understood his religion himself, so he wouldn’t be a basis for deen anyway.

I totally agree with you on what you said. Language is weapon; therefore, it can be used with you or against you. However, here is something that we should have a look at. People are different. We are on the internet world. Some people consider themselves as Muslims while the fact they are Muslims in name only. Others are Muslims but they do not practice the real teachings of Islam. Therefore, I think the best answer and excuse to those people who changed their ideas because of comments on social media is that we do not know these people either if they are really Muslims or not because we simply know nothing about them except their nicknames.

Hello Friends and Neighbours, Speaking from the perspective of grey hairs and wrinkles I recognise what Mr Belal has to say in terms of the phrase "an old head on young shoulders". What deference is due to grey hairs? What is it that old people, ....in any culture, Muslim, Hindu, other etc etc..are SUPPOSED to have learned by infinite Groundhog Day repetition of the same mistakes over and over and over...it is..I think, that caution, and courtesy, and going very gently and slowly....are a sort of information technology. Nowadays Muslims love a good quarrel. It's a shame but stems from people constantly trying to find fault in each other rather then actually trying to learn something or find good in something. We should always guard our tongues whether it's in real life situations or online, we will all be held accountable. If you say something to someone fave to face you may just affect that one person however when you comment online you are often exposing yourself to 100's if not thousands of people and each person that reads it you will be held accountable. But, when all is said and done Allah guides whom he wills and they can never be misguided and whoever is misguided no one can guide other than Allah. So we pray for all of those who are seeking the truth and may Allah guide everyone through our good actions and kind words and may we be better and realise that this deen we have has been inherited from the greatest of mankind. IF we truly valued what we have we'd always think twice before talking or commenting.

What people tend to forget is ... Regardless of religion we are human and embedded in our human nature is bad as well as good, Islam doesn't tell you to be bad... But it is the actions of the person themselves that makes them choose to say or do something bad... In reflection you need to be careful how you are representing your religion ... You have to learn to refrain from the negative when you want to a person of religion

Advice from me to all Muslim. No need for us to insult, hate, hurt or kill the Non Muslim because the Non Muslim don't understand what actually in Islam. The Non Muslim think they know what is Islam but actually they don't know. When the non Muslim give negative comment is because they don't understand and we ourselves must understand Islam very well before giving a comment. Don't quarrel, don't argue , don't debate if you don't have a good way of answering them. Every human have desire and the real enemy of all human is not the religion but human real enemy is the desire and satan. We also have to be careful with our own desire because desire that we can't control can be wild. That's why God command us to pray 5 times a day and fasting in Ramadhan. Not only to thank God but also to keep our desire under control so that it won't exceed the limit.
