Chase thanks for finishing up the video with your dad and talking it out giving us some insight of what you're dealing with with the late model. Chase know this your one of the top young drivers in the country you have to trust yourself when you hear something or feel something because you were right the entire time. Trust and believe all of us watching know you don't spin a car out just for no reason. Again thank you for talking with your pops when I know you wanted to take the camera and chuck into the woods.

Man I been watching Chase and Chavis since the beginning and Chase is maturing so much he's starting to realize that it's not just having good equipment and good setup it's about building a fine tuned piece that works together as a whole. Why do you think the best of the best build their cars. They don't just go pick up a roller. They pick up a bare frame and build a genuine piece. Chase is learning just like everyone else had to.
@jasonchitwood74367 ай бұрын
Well being as Winfield, TN is my hometown and he's been stacking those W's up lately and always in contention. That'd be the 157 of Mike Marlar they have always built their car's my Dad and Mikey's Dad we're really good friends growing up and as adults and my Dad done alot of work for David building garages and whatever but I remember countless summer's spending every single summer break at the junk yard and I remember one time they started with a bare frame and the next day at about 12 he was driving it down the road and left that night and went and won a 20k race the very next night. What kinda question is that anyways. Every single person with any common sense knows you must build your car's to get what you want. There's so many people out there that have the exact same equipment and I guarantee could even run the same line and set up and wouldn't be as fast because a true racer will do any little thing to better his car if you gain a tenth here and there that makes a big difference. Js

The White Mod with the duct tape numbers reminds me of the first time I saw Jack Hewit race. He was in a sprint car with a primer black tail tank with grey duct tape numbers after a rough nigh before. Speaking of Jack you say its rough running two cars think of Jack Running 4 cars and winning the 4 features of the four crown, I have faith youll come up with a system that will make things easier and smoother

All jokes aside Chase, check the wheel bearings and make sure that they are adjusted up. Your pedal is good sitting still but rolling it pushes the caliper piston back in .one rear-end I had they always came loose, you could tell because the pedal went farther down as the race went on . Chase changing his line up down in 3-4 to avoid the bumps then staying high in 1-2 to get the run down the back then moving down in 1-2 to take 2nd line away after that terrible gut punch in the clm answered every question I had I about how good he can be.

Start with cleaning out your fuel cell and progress forward cleaning the fuel system. A friend of mine had plastic shavings in the fuel cell that got into the system and plugged up the filters, causing a stumble when he got back on the gas. Plastic shavings were from the manufacturing process of building the fuel cell.

Im just honest and realistic and the problem is no matter what hes not happy, Win or lose theres always something to complain about. Chavis tries so hard to be real and supportive at the same time but the driver always has his head in the dirt. even after a win theres no smile no joy no celebration. Its gotta be hard for Rocky, Mike, Chavis and the crew to keep interest when the drivers always complaining. I had to sell my car because life is rough and we cant all have what we dream of so its real hard to hear someone complain when they have 3 race cars a hauler and are living a dream you cant.
@grossfamilyracing7 ай бұрын
As part of his crew, he really doesn’t complain. Rather he holds himself to a high standard, as most people do! Especially, racers, including myself!! Racing is his job, unlike most people. Remember, you’re seeing just a very small part of his life, not the whole picture or everything he does and says. To keep living this DREAM, the driver AND THE CAR have to perform well. -Haleigh.
@albertpacer36817 ай бұрын
@@grossfamilyracing If you cant smile and celebrate with your team after a win and tell them they are killing it and how happy you are and grateful for all they did to get you there , then why do it? Ive been racing before you were born so I know what it takes and I know the sacrifice but when I cant smile and be happy after a win ill give it up because those highs are what makes it all worth it. When you park a car after a win and the first thing out of your mouth is a negative about how the car isnt where it should it ruins it for your crew as well. Ive done it! I had to be better to be around as the driver. Congrats on the win and keep plugging away at the Late Model, remember your not the only one whos been involved in an accident your first time out.
