Every time you find crackle glass , I instantly become 10 years old and am boiling my purée marbles and quickly dumping them on ice water … hoping to only make pretty crackled marbles and not shattered glass pieces

We didn't boil them. We heated them in a black iron frying pan, then dropped them in a bucket of cold water. They didn't break apart, just crackled. 1960s.

Meee, too, Connie! I had a kit (a Christmas gift) called "Fried Marbles" - came with all the jewelry findings, etc. Oh, my goodness, I hadn't thought about the name in years (although, like you, I think about doing it every time I see crackled glass)! 😊❤

I see Pfaltzgraff Winterberry candlestick holders at the 8 minute mark. You can see it a couple times thru out that area. That pattern is always a seller for me online. Most pieces are not big $$$ but they definitely sell for me. Just something I noticed & wanted to share with everyone!! Thanks for taking us shopping!!

Danni, you can get DecoArt glass paint (it's with the other craft paints at Hobby Lobby) - and then you can "set" it in the oven at 350°, something like that. That butter dish is the perfect canvas! 😊

Hi Danni, my mouth dropped when you picked up the stuffed dog you thought was Scooby doo. That was Trustey from Lady and the Tramp and he is worth lots of $. I would have bought him for myself as i collect Disney dogs. He is hard to find. Go back and get him.

Hi, you can paint on glazed ceramics, either with glass paints or with Copic or other alcohol base markers. The markers will come out more of a light pastel look though. Both methods need to be set in an oven. The glass paints give the instructions. I'm sure Rachel can do something great with the butter dish.

Those little bowls with lids that have a hole in the top are great for steaming a single serving of veggies. I have steamed apples with cinnamon to make an apple turnover with a tortilla. It it awesome with a bit of honey & cream cheese😋

I used to do stained glass and if you know anyone that does stained glass. See if they will take a sec. and sand that for you. I wish I could come to Vegas but if I was there you know were I would be. I lived in San Diego for yrs I came to Vegas quit often, I moved there in 69 - 84.

There is paint for all surfaces,there is also glass paint,once you paint with glass paint you can wash for 4 weeks it has to cure then its safe to wash so Rachael can paint on utter dish.

I changed the color on glass decorative flat marbles on a picture frame . You have to use alcohol base markers. Found in the scrapbooking department .
