I know this is 1 year old but I want you to know that you weren't actually doing anything wrong. This tutorial is wrong and he's not playing any of these chords in the original. You were learning the wring way it's not you fault it seemed off

I mean, you can...it just won't sound exactly like the record. But if you're just trying to get close to the sound power chords are fine. That being said I'd encourage you to try to learn the chords in the video, it will make you a better guitar player in the long run 👍

Wow this is just completely wrong. For anyone new who wants to learn this song - look up a tab on the internet. I have no idea how you possibly came up with this. He's NOT playing all these full chords. He's playing power chords for most of it with occasional chords in between choruses (those are wrong in your video too). It's super clear in the mix that he's playing something different. This video is incredibly amateurish. Also you didn't even get the staccato for the chorus? You just strum it like that?? Like dude how in the world?

This is actually the most accurate tutorial on youtube of this song. I literally just watched 5 different videos, then watched the actual band play the song live... Most videos have the power chords, but he's playing actual chords in the live version. Also, good lord, how sad do you have to be to negatively comment multiple times on a tutorial video that literally helps people. Go touch some grass, my friend.
