Great piece of music! Really interesting modulation choices. It's like a merging of the Prelude and Waltz genres, which Chopin championed during his time; it is great to see more composers take inspiration from the Romantics. Given the somewhat binary nature and brevity of this waltz, I feel like this could be suitable as an "infinite waltz" much like the idea from one of Chopin's short Waltzes or Mazurkas that can be repeated as many times as the performer wants. I say Chopin but with the dissonances through the A theme and broken chord arpeggiation in the B section, I do hear some Liszt influence coming through as well. My only real critique as a first thought, is possible overuse of damper blurring things a bit in the "B" section with the broken chord arpeggiation, so it sounds kind of messy there, and the voicing is less clear. More careful use of damper should help the notes shine through a bit better in the recording. Maybe try finessing the damper more with either 1/2 or 1/4 damper, or rhythmic dampering? It's a thought. Although listening again, part of my critique may not actually be the damper, but it could just be the microphone position isn't letting the soprano notes shine through, so the bass end sounds a little overpowering and muddy at times. So it could be a simple microphone placement issue, and not the pedaling technique at all. In any case, it's a nice little waltz! It's not super simple, but it's not horribly complex either. Nice work!

I like it, but your tempo rushes like crazy when you are playing the 8th notes compared to the quarter notes. You get twice as fast in some spots, which is just a little too rubato for my taste. I definitely liked the progression though and found it very beautiful.
