Hi! I'm a new subscriber. I watched several videos as they were recommended by the algorithm and then subscribed, only to later go to your actual channel page and see the "thanks for watching" video. I was bummed, but I've really enjoyed watching your past videos. I'd personally love seeing future videos about whatever creative endeavor you're experimenting with at the moment. I found your videos really relatable and accessible, and the conversational style is great. I loved that you would credit other artists as inspiration, which gave me other names to look up. One thing you said that I think a lot of people need to hear and see normalized (maybe especially ADHD folks like me and other neurodivergent people) is that you can enjoy something for a period of time and then let it go without guilt or shame. Not everything is forever. You can hyperfixate on a hobby for a few weeks, few months, a few years, and then if it's no longer bringing you the same happiness, you don't have to stay with it just because "I spent all this time/money/effort!" up until then. I've been bouncing around with creative things over the years too. Writing was such a huge thing for a while, and I still love it in many ways, but the self-publishing landscape in my genre(s) made it difficult for me to seriously pursue it as a career option, so I moved to editing. Plus it pays the bills a lot faster haha. And now I've suddenly jumped into art this year and am hoping to make that profitable at least as a side gig. But I still feel some of those weird feelings about the time spent doing one thing or how much of my personality it seemed to make up at one time and then suddenly shifting to something else. I just keep trying to remind myself that it's okay if interests shift. In fact, it can be a lot of fun. So I think if you wanted to make the occasional video about whatever cool creative thing you're into at the moment, there are people who'd be into that too. Sorry about writing a novel for a comment. 😅

I appreciate your reply. It took me a while to be okay with letting something go if it doesn't bring you joy. I think many times, we have a "sunk cost" mindset where we can't move on because we've invested so much into that thing, but I suppose it's not always best to go down with the ship. Thanks for watching and best of luck.

Hey Coty, always loved your energy. Keep on doing some videos and we will be there to watch them, they dont need to be about painting, just talk about what your passionate about at the moment. Heck, id love to hear your take on roasting coffee.

I wrote a saying I was going to turn into a poem.this is it.....a being is a devil for the devil is a god and in-between lies a deep blue sea shinning with apathy...lets call it the human condition

i hope you have the time to read this…the day i discovered your channel and saw many videos and decided to subscribe was the same day i watched “thanks for watching “ i was crushed…i really loved the content and i was really considering starting abstract painting as a hobby… now to answer your question i think yea do the videos and come back there’s a very important element you over saw…likeability…even if you post 5 min videos once a week for ten people :) it’s like a special kind of friendship where we go out and you are the only talkative person hahaha…also if i may suggest you can try to explain some of the masters’ work for people like me…i watch CAI channel talking about most famous whatever and i feel i don’t understand what are they talking about..more like a very pretentious way of describing bs sometimes…how about that… just a painting a week for 5 min tell us what u think how it inspires you even better what don’t you like :) also u may have shorts about different techniques like for beginners how to start acrylic painting what tools and stuff needed etc…how long does it dry between layers how do you finish it..i’m guessing most of the artists overlook tiny trivial info thinking we might know it all…or talk about your favorite books/tv shows you are currently enjoying…i’m sure u get my point do it as a friend not as an authority figure..i just hope to see u again tell us about your kids about coffee roaring just stay in touch and u never know

I am a very God conscious person. I believe in One God, in His angels, in His books, in his messengers ( including Jesus(PBUH) but we consider him to be a mighty messenger of God, not God incarnate( Christians find this offensive) and Mohammed (peace be upon him) being the last of prophets and last but not least, in the day of judgement. Muslims also believe in charity, kindness to one's family, the stranger, helpings one's neighbour ( no matter their religion) and in working towards the common good.
