I wrote something and someone(s) printed it and sold it to people like you. There a link below to this collection of Nano fiction with a dark theme. Now you can take your creepy stories where every you go. A great publisher for new and smaller writers!

Congratulations on getting published. No doubt you've read Richard Christian Matheson. Though he doesn't write microfiction (as far as I know), I enjoy his hyper-compressive style, especial in Scars. Would love to hear your thoughts on the collection if you ever have the time. Great channel. Subbed!

Woah, no I haven’t. I love Matheson’s stuff but I had no idea his son wrote. This looks really great! Definitely going to check it out. Thank you!

@@literallybooks He wrote a short story, a tour de force, in which every sentence is just one word. I won't spoil it for you. I think you'll love it. The collection is called Scars.

I am interested. It may take some time but after I’ve read it I will try to come back here and tell you what I think. I have limited control over my future self but I’m making a note and looking at myself sternly in the mirror.

@@literallybooks My apologies for sounding a little zealous about R.C. Matheson. It's just that you said when you wrote micro, I knew you get a kick out of his super-minimalist style. He also wrote the screenplay to King's Battle Ground (and Three O'Clock High, with another screenwriter, and Bill and Ted's). (If by any chance you ever find the script to Battle Ground, please let us know.) RCM is a prolific screenwriter/TV writer. You can tell he's influence by the late great Dennis Etchison. Anyway, I'll stop bugging you. Great channel.

1. No problem in any way. A huge part of what I do this for is just this sort of thing. You are absolutely in good company. 😁 2. Reading your comment I thought “Oh, that’s interesting he wrote screenplays too. Humm, what’s King’s Battlefield,” in my head I’m thinking of “King’s Field” the PlayStation game for some reason. ~Searches internet. Reads. Eyes become ping pong balls ~. Scene. I LOVE that King story! Actually my high school English teacher had us read it in class and its been one of my favorite King short stories since. Anecdote time. I think it’s a bit of an omage (spell check hates that word) to Matherson’s “Prey” (which I also love) about the Zuni fetish doll. The tv movie version “Amelia” is one of my wife’s all time favorite movies and the first gift I ever gave her was a framed still of Karen Black screaming on a bed while the Zuni doll is trying to stab her. Needless to say she loved it (at least enough to marry me). What does this have to do with anything? Not much honestly. BUT its such a cool touch that RCM wrote the script for Battleground. Yet somehow I haven’t seen it. 2006 was a very busy year for me if memory serves. …anyway… I’ll keep an eye out because you never know. I will watch the episode (?) soon so who can say which way the wind will blow me. Thank You again!
