Do not ever stop playing guitar. The song may not have been the most complex, but in my opinion, the most emotional and raw ones aren't. Solid song, though it could use some drums to keep the beat (might be pretty hard if you don't know the drums lol). Gotta add that your guitar is one of the best looking I've seen.
