Don’t see why changes are needed to make her a better support, yet her being just a mage support seems just out of the question. I get changing champ kits to scale in proper power and all, but making a champ less viable in roles they are meant to fill just seems like a miss to me.

fun fact, if you check seraphine's games played in support - she has more games played with AP mythics as a mage sup than as an enchantress :D Riot's idea is that, like Vi (who was originally a toplaner), if people don't play the champion in that lane mostly than they shouldn't be balanced for it. Balance for what people play not for what was on the design sheet. The real miss is the thought that most sera support players want to focus on her heal shield capabilities not on her overall kit

@@mariseae Exactly. I play Seraphine as a mage support. It just feels like it has more value than echo. She’s not a standard enchantress, so it doesn’t make much sense they riot to try and redirect her based on “what the player base wants” when they still choose to play her like a traditional mage support. XD Just seems riot doesn’t know what they want half the time, with the players having no idea either.

Literally every single one of your videos is sooo satisfying to watch.. it s just the commentary, the chill gameplay, the explanations and guesses you speak out loud, like: "He should be right here, *explains with gamesense how he calculated that*." You & Zwag are my faves on YT, together with Eternal (Hero). PLEASE Ioki, never change! Also play Pantheon support pls. I can t have enough of ADCs or other lanes seeing a helpless support and said support just tears through them with an ungodly ammount of AD or on-hit.

Could you try building moonstone on sera as I think it is as good of a mythic as helia due to the decrease of the cooldown of the w and the fact that she can shield mutiple people. I am interested in your opinion on the matter

how is this a rework let alone 10 times better?!? you get shitier heals for better Q damager? such good, very support missing health W went from 5% lvl 1 to 3% THEN they nerf lvl18 from 7% to 5% BUT you get a lil bit bigger shield and lower W cooldown lvl 18 so if you really dont wanna throw maybe max W to make up for the shit heals sure theres the armor and other stat changes but thats not nearly enough for a "rework"

Yeah, she was supposed to be a "supportive midlaner" but was more popular as Support, until playing her as Support was significantly worse than playing her as Mid/ADC, which brings us to now where Riot very clearly wants her as Support.

I never stopped playing sera support so I'm super excited for these buffs to come through and let the champ shine in my role. I'm also really excited for the Janna changes next patch I've been dying for some i0ki Janna gameplay but even as a Janna main I'll say she's currently super reactive and not too exciting, so I'm glad they are putting proactive agency back in her kit and hope to see more hameplay of both sera and Janna on your channel soon :)

actually against these changes, theres still not much reason to pick her over other viable supports like karma. I think she was the most enjoyable to play when she was balanced for mid lane

They all were; riot just doesn't like it when their player's girlfriends go mid; it's their version of stay home and make a sandwich JK. But srsly; lots of champs built for other roles have worked as support; top lanners as jg or mid, mids go jg, adcs go top... but god forbids you try to go Soraka top... riot will lose their shit.
