@@siya518 I don't believe that there is a guarantee. In theory, All children of a Jewish person, or grandchildren of a Jewish person are fully permitted to immigrate to Israel and receive permanent Israeli citizenship. Some documentation is required, but nothing is full proof. I'd imagine that the strongest guarantee would be a DNA test, but orthodox converts of any background are also allowed to become Israeli citizens.

@@siya518 Definitely not simple or easy. Israel only accepts Orthodox conversion, which takes a tremendous amount of effort. Specifically, the Orthodox conversion requires years of intensive religious study with an Orthodox Rabbi, immersion into the Hebrew language and dedicated service to the community. To convert into the Orthodox tradition is a huge commitment. Many people find it too demanding. However once you complete the conversion process and take the ritual bath, you are fully recognized as a Jew and all of your children (and children's children) are also Jews.
