What is todays Portugal abd Spain has been occupied for many millenia before here was a jewish peole , before the phoenicians. There are studies in name origins and how they changed thru history. Israel's tribes including Judah are prophesied to be as numerous as sand of the sea. The population explosion of last 3 century's created over 2 billion people today with Israel ancestry. Estimated 400 million from Judah today. Names morph through languages. I was researching whether my half brother's mother whose name was Rodrigues could possibly have a Jewish background and now I am receiving all of these videos. It is possible but most Portuguese with this surname claim to be Roman Catholic but it may have been forced upon them during the times of the Inquisition.

I'm from Canada. I was in Portugal. I signed up for a tour that included Jewish sites but so sad it was cancelled. Would love to go back to Portugal. I have been to Israel three times.
