Basically a very complex fight." The girls were implementing a bit of the Hannibal Directive which they understood meant killing even civilians so as to completely liquidate the enemy. Of the 1150 Israelis killed that day, 350 were soldiers and secret service, so there were 700 civilians killed. 350 of those were shot dead at the rave festival where airline bombs could barely distinguish what they were targeting. Who knows how many of their own people the IDF shot that day. As these girls said, "No matter what comes out of that route you open fire. You have permission." Or the commander, "[it was] a complex fight."

When she says "destroy everything in sight" and "you open fire no matter what" she means at the border, firing against terrorists trying to get in through the fence, NOT inside the kibboutz. There was no bombing by airplanes in the rave festival. There is one known case when a hostage was killed by a drone that fired at a terrorist vehicle, not knowing there were hostages inside. There will have to be many scenes of them riding recklessly in the tank and barely looking out. The most comical scene will be the 10 minutes when the girls were trying to figure out how the tank works and how to shoot. Outside we would see the tank going in circles on the sand dunes. How heroic of them shooting at everything in sight and not bothering much to check whether civilians and not being killed. I remember films like that long ago, probably made by American Jewish producers who foretold how Jewish soldiers would be helpless with modern military technology.
