10 more Fps and a lower power consumption doesn't compensate for the higher price for the Motherboard. Cheapest B660 Motherboard in my region costs 114 Euro, while B560 costs only 77 Euro. Same goes for the CPU, 12400f costs 177 Euro, while 11400f goes for 149 Euro. The difference of 65 Euros is the price of a good 16 GB 3200 mhz RAM. Based on the cost of electricity of 0.43 Euro/1KW this thing will not use more than 15 Euro in a year. Socket 1700 is really not worth it.

You nail the main reason bro... Because of that DDR5 you have to spent more on the ram and motherboard just to have 15 to 20 fps from AAA games... There are benchmarks aplenty on KZbin that show a gain of about 2-3fps between stock and unlocked power limits on the 10400. All it did was make them run hotter.

Quando o teste é com o PROCESSADOR, então se coloca a placa de vídeo mais potente que tiver, assim a placa de vídeo NÃO será o limitador do sistema, e sim o processador que eu quero testar até onde ele vai. Esse é um metodo para descobrir a evolução dos processadores. Se colocar uma placa de vídeo um pouco mais fraca, é possível que ela atinja seu máximo e o processador não chegue ao máximo que ele pode entregar, assim não seria uma boa forma de teste do PROCESSADOR =)

Not exactly a fair comparison in terms of ram. DDR5 makes a bit of a difference here. Use the same speed across all tests and pair it with a realistic GPU. A RX 6600 or RTX 3060 is more of a realistic scenario

Forget about 11th gen, I would rather upgrade to an i5 12600K instead of the i7 11700K. The i7 11700K is nowadays a really bad CPU in terms of price to performance ratio and does not support PCiE 5.0 and has no E-Cores. But since you already have other components, It makes sense to go for the i7 11700K but do not go for the i9 11900K.
