adrian, higher resolution mostly taxes your gpu and plus games don't take alot of advantage of the hyperthreading provided by the i7 so stick to an i5 if your purely gaming.

i watched few tech videos and from what i understood you should choose asus when it comes to motherboard ... for gpu gigabyte or msi being a better choice (all gtx 1070 have about same fps{0-3 fps difference},the difference between them being heating/cooling ,rgb,price).....asus gpu's have higher temps underloaded so i would go for gigabyte and for processor they both about the same ,i would persoanlly go with 7600 because he have higher clock speed(even tought for gaming the difference between those two isn't noticeable at all from what i say) ps:im saving money for similar build gtx 1070 + 7600 or if it's taking me too long to get the money i will go for i5 7400 + gtx 1060 3 gb(gigabyte or msi xD) and rip my english

Hey guys. Regular towers and cpus are more powerful. Yeah I know they aren't as portable but they are better. Portability is great. But if you can try to get a regular desktop CPU and not a k, u, or hq, when you can. The regular number desktop is better. For example just a i5 7400 or i7 7700 no k, hq, or u if you want the most power. Yes it will be less portable and consume more power but better performance.

Evidently Yes, although minimum fps is a less reliable than 1% and 0.1% lows, it still represents how much stuttering there is, as you can see in this video , mafia 3 dipped to the 40s for the i5 while the worst the i7 dropped to was 78 fps, also crysis 3 won by 50 % more fps on average when comparing the i7 to the i5 though admittedly crysis 3 is an older title and the difference for averages wont be that huge for recent triple A games
