I7 is better, but with very little. So I don't think it will be very different from the i5 9400f. Have a combo with i5 and RTX 2060 and still holds good gaming performance.

I have the same CPU but my temps are higher than this while gaming 75-80 c. my cpu usage mostly reaches 100% I tried many BIOS and OS settings nothing works. Are you turned off turbo Boost ? Please suggest me a solution. My system is not crisp and smooth its always little laggy.

@@Yclaeftos Nope, the only thing in the card settings that I changed is the fan curve. I made it push to 100% when reaching 75C. Valorant is CPU demanding game, not GPU. Take a look at your CPU work performance and temperature.

It's from 150 to 250fps. Few things may be the problem. Slow internet, higher temperature to CPU, GPU. Check them.

I'm using custom cooler on every CPU that I build. Try open the case so there is better cooling. If it helps a little bit, think of putting custom cooler. Most of the coolers that I use are from Arctic freezer (not liquid) they are easy to install.

One question I have 5i 9400f and 16 RAM I have 1050 TI what is the best graphics card to switch to I wanted at first 2080 TI but some say it's bad for the 9400f later I wanted only the normal 2080 but some still say it will bottleneck Some suggested only 1660 TI as the best and only available option I am new to pc stuff and my head is really a bit tired of all looking into the intel core and graphics card stuff So anyone who knows the answer really thank you and I will appreciate if you answer me as simply as possible If you have 16 RAM intel core i5 9400f which is the best graphics card to upgrade too

Hello there. I have this combo in the video for about an year and it works fine without a problem. In deed if you put 2080 it will bottleneck the CPU and you will not get the best of the card. The RTX 2060 is working very good and I think it's a perfect match for the i5 9400f. You can see the parts for the combo in description. Do you think it would be better with an i5 9600kf? Without overclock in this case, cause I have an i3 9350kf, and recently I bought a RTX 2060, will arrive in a few days, and I'm thinking about also upgrading my CPU, comparing your video from the i3 9100 to this i5 9400 I don't see much of a difference, maybe with the i5 9600kf could be a bit better.

Hi there. The only difference is that the 9600 is with higher speed 3.7 GHz vs 2.9GHz from 9400. If you are going to play games that 9400 struggles there, than Yes go for the 9600. Best regards

In Assassin's Creed Origins, with the same CPU and a 2060 super, my performance are really lower (arround 50fps and 30 in town) and I don't know why. I know the game is not well optimised but in some benchmarks with same hardware, the game run well.
