imho, in this edit of 'Into the Night (ft HIPPI)' IA sings the verse section HIPPI sings the lead-in to the chorus, then they pass the lead back and forth In the full edit, IA sings lead for the first half HIPPI sings lead for the second half (starting at verse 2) It's interesting to compare their identical lines This is what I hear after a number of listens

It feels bad because 1st PLACE CG were better even 7-8 years ago, so in theory it's the old one who should be "worse", "a downgrade", right? It feels like they suddenly lost all the funds to make cool things and now they're kinda rediscovering how to make everything from 0... I don't know how to feel about IA GLOWB either, I'd just prefer IA going back to her old 2012-2017 days.

this is a terrible move for ia to be honest. I feel like they should move her onto a better engine, like synth v if they want to go down this AI route... not only that, it just hurts to see them add so much werid and unfitting and downright offensive stuff to her character im really heartbroken they don't take feedback and that this is what we're getting for her 10th anniversary...... i feel like this will attract the wrong people to ia, and it pains me to to say that... i feel they should hire someone who knows and can communicate with their fans so they can get feedback since this is just going downhill......

Ngl I've been thinking that for years. At first, it was small things like then changing her main design to her ROCKS version (which is just... Bland. There's a reason why her original design was the way it was) and keeping those damn ugly hair highlights or her PS VITA game being mid (with terrible design for the modules). But then they switched to CeVIO... And the VBs just aren't good. They just kept straying further from what IA was at first, from the version of IA that people liked, and now instead of having the regular/current version active internationally, they're launching that? I'd rather take that Hatsune Miku rip-off the Metaverse tried to make happen over whatever this is. IA doesn't sound good, the songs are quite boring, the design is bland and nothing like what the character had always been. They'd always been careful to keep her "unique" and main features in most designs ESPECIALLY in the game (which is why the design are meh) but now they just ditch it? Come on. At least make her have the vibes she had in the concerts. They genuinely need to change up their art department and have an actual direction for her. They've been pushing her as a character and not just a vocal synth for years, and this launch has confirmed it, so they need to be consistent and give her her own style. For what they want to do, 1rst place needs to plan it out more and not go for the generic route using whatever they think is popular. This design looks like any other anime girl, any wannabe-Vtuber. It doesn't scream polished, it doesn't feel like there's any love in it. And for fuck's sake, stop trying to make her hair pink. It's gray. It's what differenciated her from other VBs at the time. It's a terrible move. She has an established image, don't make her into a generic pink-haired anime gal. Especially not when there's already well-known VBs with that element (hi Luka!) or successful Vtubers ('sup Mori!). Play the difference. And for God's sake, get people that can tune her. Don't pull a Crypton, make her sound good. (Also adding that I totally agree and I don't understand why they're still with CeVIO since they want to go for the AI route. Teto's voicebank is stunning. Why would I buy IA when I can have much better? I do feel like they shouldn't go for AI or have another character do it instead. Keep her in her niche. So many realistic VBs are out and saturating the market. Play the long game and keep people who like the slightly robotic VBs with you. IA's V3 VB is still amazing and incredibly realistic. That's the angle they should use. I mean, look at Crypton. Their marketing is all about that and it works, though they did help with Teto. Either play on your strength and don't change or switch synths and blow us all away and make IA AI an incredible, beautiful, realistic VB like she was for V3!)
