Remember the dances at Large ward I married Bob Grier and Bob stated every band that played at Largoward had to be able to Donald Ian Rankine as that was oor favourite tune!

Yeees...indeed!!! A great Rankine Medley!!! Excellently played. However...it always strikes me......so rarely heard Rankins "Let The Hackles Rise".How come?

Iain MacPhail. Think,the most versatile band of all.They are said to be innovators in the scene.Yea...and just THAT I condemn !!!. For....WHAT does an innovator have to go on in traditional music? Robbies reaction at that time,I remember, was....Yes,I've never given this any thoughts.
