Thank you to his late father Rodney for buying Iam that guitar and teaching him to play and sing. Why is Iam doing so well on American Idol? It’s because the Aloha Spirit glows from him without any filter, and we all need that right now.

Awww...this made me cry today. I lost my dad when I was in my early 20s, and its a loss you never come fully back from at such a young age. It takes a piece of your heart I think. I'm glad he has this gift he can use as an outlet for those emotions.

I lost My Father in 2019, I remember when this song first came out and I saw the video By James Blunt. This Young man shows much courage every time he sings this song with such a recent loss. It is such a beautiful thing he has so much support behind him!

Can't see him because I Cried so hard, I lost two kids, and heartbroken, all in less than two months, while I returned to college after retiring from the Military, and I chose to return to school because my kid's dream's mom graduated from college but with a Master's, please sharing a personal story., I will be walking on 10 June, and he makes me cry hard! I loved this Kid. The 1st time I saw him. My comment on KZbin Said, instantly Iam the Winner. It became a reality. I wish him a lot of success, and if you are ever in Vegas, I will surely see you; it Is hard to take direction when you lose family members.
