iamamiwhoami's music has helped me through so many rough times since i have discovered them. Music like this transcends you to a different place. Especially during this pandemic, and everything else that is happening in the world, i want to listen to a song like this + just escape. (I ordered the "blue" vinyl and cannot wait until it gets here just to listen to this song on repeat and possibly tear up at the beauty of it!)

This is an audio and *visual* project. Some people seem to forget this. Despite listening to the album separately from the videos it still fulfills the original thoughts and feelings these videos conjured. I am taken to the same places albeit the narrative is different. The audio alone is an outstanding project in itself but married together on a platform like this, has achieved something rarely seen in today's music industry. The album itself is exquisitely produced and so too is the cinematography. Combined so seamlessly I'd go as far to say that they have transcended and bridged over the status quo to give us something quite stunning and truly unique.

Could you said it in a more poignant and beautiful way? No. You said it all. 💙
@JonathanRodriguezz10 жыл бұрын
This. This is what I wanted this project to be like. This is what Iam does so well. The complexity in song structure is there, the layers in the lyrics is there, the tone in the images presented is there. I think this song is about her feeling trapped by her own art in some sense like if she tried to make anything else her fans, perhaps represented by the black figures, would turn on her.

Historically, brazilians are very open to foreign cultures, so listening to music from other countries, mainly USA and Europe, is very natural for us. Besides, brazilians are VERY engaged in social media, so we "appear a lot" lol. It doesn't happen only with iamamiwhoami, a lot of other improbable artists have a larger fandom in Brazil than in their own countries.

definitely EXTRAORDINARY. you definitely should follow iamamiwhoami I'm not sure if I do agree on the length of the video, of course, I do always want the videos and songs to last longer but that has to do with my addiction to them, I never want them to end. But no, it does not end before the journey is over. That is a trademark edition for their visual/audio creations.....they all lead into one another, so maybe watch them all in order. Since BLUE has not yet been released, try watching the album KIN, watching those videos together is a great journey.
