This is interesting. So, I watched a Video by High Speed operators using a Single Lever Paddle. In the Video they used like Baby Powder on their hands before they touched the Single Lever. This is using 40+ WPM. I do not do High Speed CW. I am sort of 18-20WPM. I do not use Iambic. I do have both Paddles Dual and Single Lever. A vs B? I have a hard time thinking what to send next. I don't have what Characters would benefit from Iambic memorized. Perhaps, I am taking the simple path. High Speed (Baby or Telcum Powder) and the key was position horizontal. Left side is the cable. Right side the single lever. We normally use keys facing us or at an angle. That was interesting. That would be a good video. What is the best Key Position? Perhaps a stupid question. Rigs want you to chose Iambic A or Iambic B. Why can't you chose neither? I think A would be best if you do not use it. I will re-watch the video. Sometimes if I am lazy I could hit both paddles at the same time and engage Iambic when it is not intended. So, and I wonder, if I do not use Iambic perhaps I should have never bought dual paddles? And should have just bought a single lever paddle. But they are not the most common. I am sure this is a very HOT issue. I am taking classes in LICW. I hope to learn more. I want to copy perfect at 20WPM in my head. Not going to over think Iambic. It is a miracle I made it this far! Thank you, The video is great. Bill Kg4fxg
