Onefour has alot of hate in certain parts of Australia and especially New Zealand. All of Onefour members are Samoans, and i think thats where alot of the hate stems from, but even other Samoans in general hate on Onefour which is pretty sad but then thats just how Samoans are in general. The majority suffer from "tall poppy syndrome" because they see Onefour becoming Successful they become jealous and bitter and put down their fellow Samoans. That saying "If you have nothing to say then dont say anything at all" doesn't apply to Samoans. Samoans already have hate from the most of the Tongans and kiwis why add to it "lift your people" dont hate on them. I wish nothing but success for these uso's (brothers) telling their story good or bad, whatever, who are we to judge? If they can make money using the gift that good gave them then why not? why won't you hate on that? They're original in the fact that they're not your average nz rap group who go around shouting c'z up or suwhooop bloods? Dressing and acting like American gangs, bloods and Crips and putting on fake American accents wearing nothing but red and waving red bandanas in the air. Onefour completely changed the game. People say "oh but they are biting from the UK drill scene in one way thats true but in another that's far from there truth. Yes Onefour are heavily influenced by UK drill, what they can be fans too? What so nobody looks up, or are big fans of 2pac? The difference is Onefour has added their own original flavor by rapping in their "own" accent not like the rap groups in nz who still to this day try to rap with the American accent. Onefour opting to adopt the full tracksuit look by sports brands like addidas and nike ect with footwear of choice being TN's nikeys and the designer man bags and hairstyles with ponytails not braids like the kiwis, or your typical Australian (bogan) mullet! Alot of the hate also comes from Nz and how they think Onefour's style is lame but just look who's getting all the fame and love from the UK and America. Its definitely not rap groups from nz that's for sure. The funny thing is the kiwis are now biting the style from Onefour but still have the nerve to hate on them! Nz till this day don't even have a Drill group because they never done Drill before. It was Onefour that made Nzdrs aware of Drill music. Right now Onefour is on top of the drill/rap game between Australia and nz and thats the truth.
