Hello from the USA! First I would like to say what wonderful people you both seem to be. You are so fun loving and joyful. I know we only get to see a tiny part of your life, but people who interact with each other and their animals as you do seem to genuinely be happy. I love both of your channels! What you have done for these cats is amazing. Not just anyone could take on what you have. I have watched your older videos when you lived in your apartment building. I am blown away that the building manager would let you have Messi in your apartment! In US apartments they have bans on certain dog breeds and other animals. No way we could get away with having a puma 😂 Although you’ve lived in your house for quite some time now I do want to congratulate you. It is a beautiful home that I know you have put much work into. The grounds and landscape as well as Gerda’s enclosure are all beautiful! You are truly dedicated people. You and your precious babies (cats) bring a smile to my face with each video posted. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us! ​@@AHillard1227 In fact, everything is not exactly as Denjem says. At least the elephant part)) Not anymore. You really have the right to keep any pets in your private apartment or territory: any dogs, cats, whatever. No such thing as building manger who rules how people must live in apartment they bought. But when it comes to wild animals, as lynxes, pumas ets - a law was recently passed prohibiting individuals from owning wild animals. It is still possible, but you need to be registered as a zoo, you need to have the territory necessary for the animal and comply with state standards etc And i think its good. This reduces the number of irresponsible owners of such serious animals.

In the US we usually don’t own an apartment so that’s why there are managers. It’s technically someone else’s property which is why they have some say in what goes on. We pay rent monthly to the company or person who owns the building. Thank you for explaining the changes that have taken place in your country regarding wild animals etc. I don’t know the exact laws in America since I don’t own any exotic animals. It does sound like your updated laws are similar to what I believe ours to be though. Thank you again for your input. Have a great day!

@@denjem1661 So here people have apartments for several reasons. 1. They are new in the area and need to rent for a while before buying a home. 2. They want to downsize from a home and an apartment is convenient. It takes away the responsibility of upkeep of the lawn and shrubs etc. Also if there is something in the apartment needing repair they just let the apartment manager know. There are maintenance people on site most of the time during daytime hours. 3. A person may not have money enough to put a down payment on a home yet and needs to rent in order to save up money. Now most apartments nowadays have hookups for a washer and dryer in them. Some of the older or less nice ones may not. They offer a laundry room for people who don’t have their own machine. That also allows the apartment company to make a little extra money. Also yes it is very inconvenient as my first apartment didn’t have hook ups in the apartment. In homes most people have their own machines. If they don’t it’s usually because they don’t have the money to buy their own. There aren’t many laundry mats around anymore really. At least not where I’m from. Now owning apartments isn’t really something people do as you can tell from my above answers. They usually are a temporary home. Some people do however choose to buy a condominium if they still want to downsize but also own. A condo is usually larger than the apartments and there’s more sense of community there in many cases. I hope that answers your questions! It’s interesting the differences in the way people live elsewhere. 😊

So funny how Gerda waited for her Mom outside….she never gave up watching the door where Mommy disappeared inside 😊😊. Very sweet girl waiting for her beloved Mom and her meal! And Messi was upstairs in the balcony watching everything that was happening, being calm and quietly with his Dad. As long as Sasha is with him, that’s all Messi cares about it. What children Mom and Dad have…..both are very beautiful creatures with different personalities. Love them both! ♥️♥️. They are great kids 👍👍👍. Ohhhh! Those lever type doorknobs! Easy for you, but if she watches how you work it often enough, she'll try it, too! They put those on handicapped peoples' doors so it's easier for them, AND THEIR DOGS to open for them. If dog can learn those lever knobs - that cat can, too! Her nose on the knob - she knows that opens the door somehow! If she figures to pull the lever down while pulling back - she'll get the door open! She's tall enough for it to be easy once she figures the Puzzle! I laffed at Misha's dance at the door! I go through the same thing feeding my sheep! Running to the cat's house - cat right behind her! 🤣🤣🤣 Nothing can outrun them that breathes!
